Sarah Palin appears to be be a good choice in terms of ber background and personal life..

The debates will both feature youth and vigor vs less youthful and supposedly less vigorous candidates.

It is undoubtedly a desperate gamble by the McCain campaign - but what other choice do they really have other than to gamble.

Terrible pick.

Her policies are absolutely right wing. It is an insult to women to say they don't care what a candidate stands for.
Oh Please

Now Mikey - no one speaks for ALL WOMEN.

No one.

I agree, I think women that embrace conservative values will love her. I don't think one single moderate or liberal woman will vote just because she is on the ticket. Women are smarter than pandering.

Women who embrace conservative values were already voting McCain.

Only Women who are married to Repug men, I hear. Though Most of them will be smarter than that this time.

What a slap in the face for all the eminantly more qualified candidates, and especially for all the eminantly more qualified women that were passed over.

Can you even imagine, if John McCain's purpose was just to pick a woman, how all the republican women he passed over for this relative young newby feel?

And she is already under investigation for using her POWER POSITION for personal reason. (judicial)

Clearly shows how McCain would manage if he was POTUS

They didn't want the nomination.

The republicans this november are, like the "brave 600," riding into the valley of death in terms of the election.

The real question is, what are their plans to avoid the results of that election?

Ridiculous

This is ridiculous. Her background is no different than many Americans. She is not much more qualified than me or many others business owners and veterans.

Maybe I should have been the VP pick. I have a B.S., an MBA, owned 2 businesses, a veteran, a father, and a cancer survivor (so is my wife). Pick me McCain.
