Will Clark and Obama get together and talk?

I'm getting nervous that Barack may announce his run for POTUS before seriously considering how much more potent his leadership could be as part of a team led by Wesley Clark. They compliment each other more highly than any other set of Democrats and so I simply wish that Senator Obama would do the right thing and approach the General as his Vice President, ready to be the 2nd top executive of the U.S. Government- aware of how much he could accomplish for the country while Wes takes care of Bush's foreign policy disasters and repairs our place in the world as only this former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO could.
When and how will people realize what a Godsend it is to have, at this time, someone who is truly good and progressive and a Democrat, AND who also understands how to reign in the out-of-control Military/Industrial Complex through first-hand, inside experience? That 'reign in' must be the first major priority of the next administration. Will Wes Clark follow his gut and make himself available to the cause? and quickly please. The ground is quite fertile for the moment.

So will Wes Clark and Barack Obama get together and talk about this? At least on the phone? I sure hope so, and soon. Clark/Obama would win 60%+ in November 2008.

I'm so nausiated now. No way in Hades is a Rock Star like Sen. Obama going to choose Clark over John Edwards. Look, noone under 30 years old knows who the hell he is. Either that, or he's so old news we forgot about him. What's with bringing out the old sweaters? People are drawn to Obama because he's FRESH and NEW. Why the hell would the same people pick someone OLD and STALE to run a ticket in the LEAD? Why not Obama in the lead? Better yet. Why not a ticket based in reality?

Obama/Edwards 2008!

Obama, Clinton and Edwards are the frontrunnrs. What would Barack Obama have to say to a man polling 10th or 6th at the most? Obama is above Clark.

Listen D, remember when Kerry was the frontrunner in '04 and all the lemmings ran off the cliff with him? How did that work out for us? Also if a lot of "under 30 year olds" don't know who Clark is they probably can't even be bothered to vote. I think you are being narrowsighted. Frontrunner status is often a curse put on by a Media that may be backed by opposing forces and a mass hysteria that gave us Kerry last time. When people are in a rush to pick a leader they often do not pick the most qualified. All i'm saying is that while it's early, Obama and Clark should at least have the sense to talk to each other. What does anybody have to lose by that?
