Over 30 years of being a true blue Democrat and being glued to this election round, I will (gag)vote for McCainthis time if Obama refuses to step aside and let Hillary take the nomination. She has what it takes to pull us out of these dark days. Obama just has the uneducated and often illiterate blindly backing him. I will conceed that it might take a combination of the two top Dems to beat another Bush regime, but PLEASE Obama... step aside and let Clinton show you the ropes on how to work for the poor working class.

Hillary is the Real Uniter

Hillary can unite this country. Go hillary.

All you have to do is read the posts from her supporters and it doesn't take much to realize how much she is tearing us apart.

Win at all costs? Didn't someone tell you it was over?

Time to figure out where you're going to be in November.

May I suggest you check out Barack Obama's website, look at where he stands on the issues and read a real blog for a CHANGE!!

The tearing started when Obama got in the race and the media saw no evil except for everyone except Obama! I didn't vote fro Clinton but was an Edwards fan but the media destroyed himn and mony of the others. I have to hand it to Clinton getting as many votes as she does fighting the media (Obama gets free everything) and the DNC.

She's trooper but Obama has been playing the race card since the beginning but everyones afraid to say it!

Not to be mean; but Obama is tearing us apart and his blind followers. "Someone will rise up from a powerful country, say they wil solve all the problems and people will flock in numbers." I will not say any more but this is from the Bible. And this is scary stuff. PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES, people for Obama. My goodness, he has no experience, what are you thinking. I could go on and on. I am a devote Christian so I love everyone on this site believe it or not. I am just so frustrated that people cannot see what is going on. Our enemies want him to get the nominee..what does that tell you.

Why is it because Hillary is staying in the race, which is her right, she is a divider? Can't the same be said for OBama? HE HAS NOT WON YET!!!!!! Why doesn't he just back out? Listen to his supporters. Why are they not dividers just as Hillary's? Let the election process go till the end. What have Obama's supporters have to fear if indeed he is the one we all want? (NOT NOT) She still can win the popular vote!!! Then what? Do the superdelegates pick the candidate over the voters? Well when that happens I will vote for McCain. The Democratic party will have left me behind so what do I have to lose? This country will not be led by someone who has a wife who has said She "HAS NEVER BEEN PROUD OF THIS COUNTRY" What does she have to bitch about, she certainly has not been held back. I am not alone in these sentiments. Oh and by the way why is it soooooo groundbreaking if Obama wins the primary. As my son says it will still be a man. The real ground breaker would be a woman. Just because Obama's supporters are LOUD, LOUD, LOUD does not make them more important thank Hillary's supporters. We will make the difference if he win's the primary. Most of us will not vote or willlllllll Vote for McCain.
The Democratic Party is doing it again, They will hand this election to the Republicans again if OBama is the nominee.
Has this country forgotten how well this country did under Bill Clinton even with all the scrutiny. There is nothing left for them to uncover. The press has left Obama alone what else is there left for them to uncover? I will not give the keys to this country to someone who doesn't know how to drive.
I will gladly go back to what we had then. Experience does count.

Why not Hillary step aside?! Being a better candidate is in the minds of the voters..

not

and furthermore
By Shan May 10th 2008 at 1:01 pm EDT
what the hell more does she know more about "poor" working class people and they're specific needs be they white, black, brown yellow or in between?
Re: and furthermore

Look at their records. Period.
Re: and furthermore
By Shan May 10th 2008 at 1:14 pm EDT
laughable. BHO can take her on on this. Swigging liquor and misinforming the people about a gas tax that would never past does not make her a woman of the people.

As I posted earlier, we are fortunate to have two great candidates. Whoever wins, I will support.

The party needs better loyalists.
Re: and furthermore

Your words are cheap, if you will not support our candidate and our party then you are not a true blue supporter. I support your right to support Hillary, good for you!! But to say you voting for McCain is just wrong, its wrong on the issues and no true democrat would do it
Re: Obama is our Candidate
By Democrat in Springfield, VA May 10th 2008 at 1:10 pm EDT
So what's the big deal about being a "true democrat"...there you go with that elitist crap again!

Obama people are tearing the fabric of the party to shreds with all these idiotic Party Builder statements. In reality I see you tearing it apart by scheming to shut down any opposition. Too bad! It don't set well and speaks real high of your values!
Re: Obama is our Candidate

When the party decided to not count every vote, they no longer merit BLIND SUPPORT.

Between caucuses excluding so many and not counting states amongst other issues, the party of which I have been loyal my entire life has lost some of luster and needs immeasurable renovation before blind loyality is due.

Actually, the uneducated and illiterate
By Hollywood May 10th 2008 at 1:08 pm EDT
back Hillary but no matter, this is a big tent.

Gee, I hope we don't have any black athletes on the U.S. Olympic team or you'll be yelling for them to slow down and under-perform so the white guys can catch up!! (joke).

Oh please, stop playing the race card...we are sick of hearing it!

OK, how's this. Olympian athelete from California is winning and you want him to drop out so the guy from Virginia has a chance. Same thing. Is my point clear now?

R: country needs
By Paul Thompson May 10th 2008 at 1:09 pm EDT
In my lifetime, I've seen many races where the front-running, presumed winner steps aside (usually by feigning a pulled hamstring) and lets another win. Of course, that's only been in Disney movies about handicapped athletes... but maybe the same could apply here.

Personally, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to happen this time.

Re: .
By Democrat in Springfield, VA May 10th 2008 at 1:19 pm EDT
Oh, so now because I support Hillary I am a fanatic...whatever. Normally I would take offense, but because you are an Obama supporter I totally understand that you cannot refrain from name-calling...so no offense taken.
A fanatic is someone who is so obsessed
By Hollywood May 10th 2008 at 1:22 pm EDT
with one candidate that they won't accept any other.

Would you vote for Al Gore if he suddenly threw his hat in the ring? No, thought not...
Re: A fanatic is someone who is so obsessed
By NJ member May 10th 2008 at 1:26 pm EDT
you mean me?

I am a huge Al Gore fan and he might have my vote if he ran. If he was running against Hillary and Obama very good chance I might be for Gore. Would have to of seen how the campaign went
I mean anybody

Excuse me but you asked a question and I would appreciate it if you would let me answer...Hell yes I would vote for Al Gore in a heartbeat...but never Barack!
Then you're not a "fanatic"!

Now, would you vote for Charles Rangel?
