To say that the Wright contoversy doesn't matter or is just a distraction from the "real issues" is to say that some kinds of racism are ok. I have a big problem with that idea.

So you honestly believe that Obama sat in that church for 20 years, was married and had his children baptized by Wright, but he doesn't share his views? Really??? I've got some ocean front land in Arizona you might be interested in...

Rev. Wright said a couple things in 20 years that have been taken out of context. He is a product of another generation, one where blacks where persecuted for there skin color and segregated.

I bet I could hop on the internet and find a Clinton, McCain and any other president candidate that has some shady ties.

Dont be sour on Obama just because he is Obama, No one is perfect

There was nothing "out of context" about the National Press Club speech. You are seeing what you want to see. It's time we admit we were wrong about Obama.

about his friend of 39 years, who was the best man in his first wedding, arranged for the annulment of his first marriage, officiated over his second marriage, baptised both of his children, officiated over his parents' funerals, and who he hired to work for him and who still works for him AFTER he was defrocked for molesting young boys for decades (according to court records; he didn't go to jail because the statute of limitations had elapsed) then went on to cover up the activities of other priests in an effort to sweep the paedophile priest scandal under the carpet.

I guess mud doesn't stick to anybody who's not Barack Obama, huh?
