I just saw this on CNN and thought it very interesting. A US soldier is suing the military regarding his negative treatment since he became an athiest...He doesn't want money just a guarantee of freedom of religion within the military.

I heard it too and that Bush pushed to have religion in the ranks, but sounds like it's back firing, just like when he ran for president, one of his platforms was to promote marriage and make it more difficult to divorce...we know why don't we? The clown

A Christian bias in the military? What next? I hope this guy wins his lawsuit. Although I am not an atheist (I have lived too long and seen too much proof of God) I would defend to the death an atheist's right to believe or not believe in whatever he/she chooses.

Freedom of Religion is such a basic right, guaranteed by the Constitution, it has made the USA the most tolerant nation in the world (until recently, that is).
