as it is planned that she will go after McCain and leave Palin alone ... Hillary is smart enough to know that to many attacks will only boost Palin and keep her in the spotlight ...

Do you think this is the best strategy?

Her target will be McCain. She has to negate negative opportunies she presented to him. She is the only one to tackle that one. The less we say about Palin the better. If she has to work for attention, we will see her as she is. Her just showing up is not enough.

I think she

needs to explain to her supporters how she and Sarah differ...

I believe that she will point out that this country had a deficit with Bush number 1 . That her husband and his admin. created a surplus and people were again employed. I think she will note that Bush 2 has now accumulated an even larger deficit and more and more people are facing unemployment. I think the question is "Do you and your family feel that things are better now than 8 years ago? The answer is a resounding "NO", unless you are affluent. On all the issues that directly affect the middle class, McCain has no plan. Palin is just the side show to divert attention from that fact. Do you think that most people in the middle class are choosing eyeglass frames that cost $ 375 ?I don't think so. In fact, many people are going without glasses because they cannot afford them and have no medical insurance to cover the cost of an exam/frames and lenses. Stick to the issues. We have them. OUR party and our candidate Obama need to show that we really have the plans that will most help the middle class.
We need to emphasize that McCain and the Republicans are only concerned about increased taxes, because this time it will hit the wealthy, instead of leaving them with all sorts of loopholes to avoid taxes. Those are Mccain's friends. They surely don't want higher taxes, but that would not sound good if they admitted that this time with Obama, the tax increase will be for those with high incomes. The GOP is tax and spend the middle class into poverty.McCain's plan for those without health insurance is to give them a tax credit( I think I heard about $5000,00 ) that may sound good, but it won't even come close to paying for good coverage for a family.Additionally, he wants to tax the medical package that some workers are still lucky to have.
Does that sound good for the middle class? No way. Obama need only show these things.Palin is just the flash. She has no class and if they force it, Hillary could easily show what an insult it is to her supporters. She wants to say her family is just an average family and she will work for the interests of the average family. She ,although she may not remember this, is only running for VP. The GOP may let her talk about the average family now, but McCain is thee Pres. candidate. If he can dupe the middle class with her, in Jan, Americans will see that it is his policies which will help his wealthy friend

to show and it can be done easily that Obama and the Democrats will do more for the middle class.
