WHEN AND HOW DID OBAMA MAKE HIS ANTI-IRAQ WAR DECISION

First of all, the vote was not to give the President the authority to go war. It was to allow him to use all means short of war to convince Hussein to give up his WMDs. Millitary force was to be the last resort. This vote was taken in 2003.

Obama gave his anti-Iraq war speech in 2004. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. And before he gave his 'glorious' speech, he canvased the Democratic leadership to see which way the wind was blowing. He was not in the Senate. He did not have to make a decision about voting for or against any action to be taken. He didn't see what otherSenators saw in the way of evidence, trumped up or not. Even Colin Powell was taken in by the evidence, not realizing that it was false.

So, come on and be real for once all of you who think Obama is the only choice for America. Most of his ideas have come from Hillary Clinton. He can't debate because he can't think on his feet and doesn't have the fund of knowledge that Hillary has because he has no real experience.

What exactly has he done besides work in the community and be the head of the Harvard Law Review? What real experience has he had? What laws has he been able to get passed in the Senate? On what bills has he been able to engage the Republicans in to get passed. When has he ever crossed to aisle for the good of the nation?

Someone please answer these questions for me and maybe I might be swayed to consider voting for Obama.

As far as I am concerned, I am voting for Hillary in November by writing her name on the ballot. I voted in Pennsylvania with other members of the Democratic Party. No Independents or Republicans were allowed to interfere. Who will representing the real Democratic Party ar the Narional Convention? Certainly not Democrats!

first of all we can begin with your incorrect statement that he gave his anti Iraq statement in 2004. He made that speech in 2002 BEFORE the vote. You are spreading misinformation.

here is a November 2002 interview with him

and I seriously doubt that Barack Obama who graduated from Harvard Law school cum laude needs to take any pointers from a woman who could not even pass the bar exams in DC

I love the way republicans try to seed the blog with their slanted, untrue propaganda. You can write in Micky Mouse for all the good it will do. Micky has a long career in satisfying Americans. He has more experience than anyone else in Politics today. He has had his name written on to ballots for decades and his base is growing. Instead of voting for Hillarious Clinton the I'm a Liberal, I'm a centerist, I'm a Conservative or whatever will get her elected. Vote for the Democrat that will be our candidate, Barak Obama.

Obama came out against the war-- at times an unpopular decision, before Clinton and McCain voted to go to war!!
