Just a few words to our Speaker...

I just voiced my dissatisfaction with Nancy Pelosi by calling her DC office. How dare she decide when the nominating process is over. Who died and made her queen. The nominating process is over when the National Convention is over. The longer this race goes on, the more negative information we are learning about Barack Obama. By Convention time, more and more delegates both elected and Super will certainly have a different opinion of him. How many clergymen are going to attend his church and make disgusting remarks about Hillary Clinton. I wonder if Michelle and the girls were present last Sunday. Was she one of the congregates who were cheering at this 'righteous' priest's remarks? How many more clergymen are going to be at this church making unspeakable remarks before the IRS decides to take away its tax exempt status. This church has gone beyond being a place of worship, it is now a political vanguard for extremist rhetoric. Hillalry Clinton should continue with her campaign and not stop until the votes arer taken at the Convention. No one, not even the Speaker of the House who only has one Super Delegate vote, should determine when the campaign is over. WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS!

I sent her an email earlier this week. I tried to call her office today, but it just rang and rang and rang, no voicemail or anything. Maybe her mailbox was full.

It's not over until the delegates vote at the Convention in August. There's still a lot of time until then. I'm sure Obama will make more gaffes and show how really naive he is as he continues to debate McCain long distance. He is constantly changing his positions. Can't he stick to one and run with it. I guess he only reads his own hipe.

Delegates and Super Delegates, are you listening!

Can we do something to stop the bullies, bring fairness to this race & show the world that we will fight against unjustice and we will fight for fairness for Hillary and for democracy for America?

Democracy means every vote counts, every voter has the right to let his/her voice be heard.
Yahoo is now full with articles screaming that Hillary's political future might face problems... I am so upset by such harassments against Hillary; it sounds like an implied threat to urge Hillary to quit the race. Obama's campaign & supporters & some bigwigs are urging Hillary to quit the race, chanting the (false) reason "to unify the party"! Hillary has won more votes than Obama, why doesn't HE quit the race "to unify the party"?! Can we do something to stop the bullies, bring fairness to this race & show the world that we will fight against unjustice and we will fight for fairness for Hillary and for democracy for America?

Hillary has won big in so many states and some states still have to vote; she has the right to continue. I think no one has the right to tell Hillary to give up, no one should say that "it is already decided..." because OBAMA HAS NOT WON OVER HILLARY YET ! We are also part of the voters, we need to let our voice be heard, we need to do something (emailing, posting on the internet, placing articles on newspapers etc...) to protest the fact that Hillary is being treated unfairly and to support Hillary more. By the way, I've read somewhere that many Obama's supporters go door to door or to local supermarkets to promote him and they also planned to have a rally of about 75,000 people; I wonder whether we have done such things to support Hillary ?

I hope Hillary Clinton will win over Obama because I believe in Hillary more and I think she is a better candidate and she can beat McCain more than Obama can (she has gotten more votes than Obama and, according to several polls, comparing with the case when Hillary is the nominee, there are more democrates who would vote for McCain in case Obama is the nominee).

I am worrying a lots about the future of our country. I hope someone know an effective way to let voters (and those high profile people who are supporting Obama) know about this matter : I think a black president will be a disaster for America because it will divide the country/create more racial tentions/create more troubles more than ever as there are so many Americans who don't like Obama and who would prefer to vote for McCain in case Obama is the nominee and who probably won't listen or cooperate with Obama and his government should he becomes president (most Americans like us are not racists but that's the reality).

God bless America & God bless you all.

Reply: So some people are racist and don't like people of color, so we should just ignore it and elect a white president? This is beyond comprehension. First, most people in the party are not racist. The south, perhaps, does not want a black president, but the south isn't going to vote for a Democrat anyway.

I think the race problem is your problem. I think you have hang-ups. So stop spreading your racism here, so join the RNC and support McCain. They will cherish your viewpoints.

What is positive is that many people support Obama because they no longer regard race as an issue in electing a president. The same goes for Hillary in regard to gender. These are very good things.

You're trying to stir up the pot by scaring people who might be naive enough to believe the crap your putting on here. We don't need racist views on this blog. And your views here are racist.

A black president will not be a disaster for this country. If anything else, it will show many Americans that color does not make a difference.

get real

Obama is not making these remarks. So stop attributing them to his campaign. Are you so weak that you allow yourself to get sucked into these kinds of stories?

Next, Pelosi is one of the leaders of the Democratic Party. Do you know how politics works? Do you know anything about what goes on behind closed doors. Isn't it possible that Pelosi's comments are a signal to the Clinton campaign that Democratic leaders in general want this thing to be over with?

Some of you are under the illusion that this is a complete democratic process and that party elites are just waiting for the masses to make a selection of a candidate. It's not that transparent a system. That's why we have a representative democracy rather than direct democracy: to keep the rubes from making stupid decisions. Yes, it's elitist, and yes, it can be wrong. But come on, when I'm reading some of the commentary here, I've got to ask, "And this person's vote counts the same as mine?"

Unfortunately, it does.

and try listening, and thinking for a change.

These are valid points from a valid perceptive blogger. Making insulting attacks on bloggers does nothing to help your cause. It is easy to be judgmental. Yes, being judgmental is easy.
