OBAMA: Santa Cruz County, AZ is a group of like minded supporters who believe that it is essential to elect Barack OBAMA the next President of these United States of America. Barack OBAMA will lead this country back to prosperity, our hopes will become realities, and America will once again be a respected neighbor and a beacon for freedom. Gender, race, and religion will be replaced with Nature, peace and opportunity. America will be respected worldwide for the ideals it represents and lives by rather than bending and breaking the principles this country was founded on.

  
       OBAMA: Santa Cruz County, AZ operates independently to promote Barack OBAMA with guidance from OBAMA campaign headquarters and the Democratic National Committee. We work occasionally with like minded individuals and organizations within Arizona and outside of it. OBAMA: Santa Cruz County is open to all genders, races and religions. English speakers are welcome as well as Spanish speakers or those that are bilingual. We accept Americans and non Americans, those of voting age and those who have not yet reached voting age, students are welcome. Those that are outside of Santa Cruz County are also welcome.

         Santa Cruz County is a small but important county in Arizona, it is the largest Port of Entry in Arizona. Although primarily Latinos live year round in our fair county, we have a significant tourist and "snowbird" season from October through May. Our climate is the famed high desert that is considered to be the best in the world. Our altitude varies with an average being 4400 ft above sea level. It is a unique location that Native Americans consider sacred. The Coronado National Forest is partly located here. 81 holes of golf are offer scenic views of our mountains in four locations. Our county borders Mexico on one side and we face challenges that Barack OBAMA will improve including immigration, security and customs. We are a half hour to an hour from Tucson's International Airport, but have several local airports that serve our county. Visiting Mexico  from one of the three Port of Entries in Nogales is an attraction that many visitors and those in our county enjoy.
