i read an article the other day that some troops want to actually leave Iraq for Afghanistan - go figure - i guess it takes a certain person to be a soldier....me personally - i'd just want to go home.

The National Guard troops should come home. Their mission should be serving their respective state's governors. Iraq certainly does not qualify as a national emergency. We need the Guard here for the next Katrina.

The regular Army troops and the Marines should be the ones sent to Afghanistan to find UBL and the remnants of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. And if that means kicking a few doors in inside of Pakistan, so be it. We should chase UBL anywhere on the planet he runs to until he is captured, tried, and convicted for crimes against humanity and 3000+ counts of conspiracy to committ murder.
