Democrat voting for McCain...

Here are a few of the reason i'm voting for McCain and not the Democratic nominee....incase you wanted to know the reasoning behind what you people call insanity.

1. The negativity between the 2 Dems, have completely turned me off to them, If I wanted to see 2 people down each other for doing the exact same things, i'd go watch my drunk aunt and uncle argue with each other about whos the bigger drunk...seriously..

2. Im opposed to universal health care, cause do we really need ANOTHER big government mandate telling us we HAVE to spend more of our hard earned money with gas prices expected to be near or at $4/gallon by summer time?

3. I want a responcible end to the war, not just snatching the troops out and say'n 'oh well'. Once we get rid of Dubya, and hopefully we get McCain in, we will start to see much more progress through a better managed war. Can we really afford Iran getting controll of Iraqs oil feilds? If they take control of them then you can triple the $/gallon I quoted a minute ago. And before you go and say McCain will be no different than Bush on the war, there is a big differnce between the two. McCain: Honorable war vet. with milotary experience..Bush: rich, drunk, draft dogger...nuff said.

4. I want someone who has pledged no new taxes...which is something Democrats have refused to do.

5. I want someone who will respect my voter rights, something the Democrats have trouble doing as of late.

6. I'm with the founder of the Weather Channel...sue Al Gore.

7. I'd prefer to have a honest, honorable war veteran, who lied about his age so that he could join the military and defend his country rather than a crook lawyer who lies about campaign funding and hides records, or a candidate who just makes good speeches and has a blah..record in the state senate and no experience in his current role.

I AM a registered Democrat, and dont accuse me otherwise. I'm just hoping the Democratic party will get their crap together in time for the next elections...maybe they could start with giving Vladimir Putin..ooops..I mean Howard Dean the boot...

THE DNC NEEDS TO KNOW THERE ARE MANY OUT THERE LIKE YOU

You will not be the only democrat voting McCain. I am not saying I will because in my whole voting life of over 30 years I have never voted republican. But, I am having a hard time this year.

I believe there are alot more democrats that will vote McCain than republicans that will vote Obama or Hillary.

I don't think there is really anything we can do about it this year as a party because we are so fractured and it is not just because of the current Clinton/Obama campaigns.

We have a lot of healing to do and need to change our whole nomination process. Until we resolve our differences within our party to the extent that we can not argue to the extent we always do during the primary process - we will continue to lose the White House.

Also, until the media gets out of the process to the extent that it is now involved, there is no hope for the American political process. Get the outside groups out of the process. Get the outside money out. Demand the media stop treating this process like some soap opera and just for their ratings.

Where I live I hear many people saying they will vote McCain who are registered democrats but then my state hardly ever goes democrat but that does not keep me from voting for my party.

We will be a better more united party after this and if not then we deserve to dissolve.

I am a former Florida Democrat. Since the DNC has discounted my vote, I now consider this party to be null and void.

For the first time I will vote the Republican ticket
