I think that the vast majority of Obama supporters see that they need the vast number of Clinton supporters. The vast majority of those Obama supporters have said as much and request the support of Clinton supporters respectfully. Without that support McCain will win.

Right now, the presumptive nominees are McCain and Obama. Unless something tragic happens, that will remain the same. One of them will be the next President. A write in campaign won't elect anybody. A third party campaign won't win either. The only thing that a write in campaign or a third party will do is take away votes from either Obama or McCain. Given our current political system, that is the only thing that will happen. Despite the warnings of Washington, we have become a nation of two parties, and no third candidate stands a chance in Hell to win. Well, okay, the chance is Slim and None, and Slim left town.

So, it will be either Obama or McCain in the White House. Which do you want it to be?

Unless something drastic happens, it will be Obama vs McCain. Who do you want in the White House?

How is that not respectful? I am merely pointing out that no third party candidate has ever won. The person in the White House will be either a Democrat or GOP. Right now that is Obama or McCain. Which do you want in the Oval Office?

The truth is the republic party is using this as a divisive issue, which as a republic party troll you already know.

I am not so sure that Obama will be the winner of the Electoral Colleges.
Somewhere on Yahoo there is an electoral map you can fill in and predict the outcome in States and I am afraid that Obama will come ahead in the popular vote but not in the Electoral Colleges.
Of course we still need to see who his VP will be and I might be wrong on my prediction (let's hope I am)

the real quote

Obama did not tell people to get over it. That is just Republican claptrap misinterpretation of what he said. HERE IS THE ACTUAL QUOTE. If you can read, you will see that Obama is not telling anyone "to get over it."

“If women take a moment to realize that on every issue important to women, John McCain is not in their corner, that would help them get over it.â€
