Unfortunately, as so often the case, politics and the better man (or most certainly better woman) get shoved aside when every campaign declares their winnings (err, contributions) and the name of the game finally becomes the mighty dollar. That faint whisper all of you heard over the last few weeks was a couple bucks sneaking out of your wallet. That massive roar we all heard over the past couple of days was CNN, Fox News and the LA Times (amongst many others) finally (sarcastic sigh) finding a story worth printing (read: anything but the important stuff).
