All week long, John and Elizabeth Edwards have been on the "Fighting for One America" Iowa bus tour. The schedule will take them to 31 Iowa counties over the course of 7 days and we've been blogging the trip from day 1 over on the John Edwards for President blog. We've got photos galore, but we've also got a ton of video, which I wanted to share. Check it out!

You can also follow along with us over on johnedwards.com/iowa - which is Iowa Information Central! We've still got 2 days in Iowa, then next week the bus tour turns east and heads into the Granite State!

Tracy Joan!
By Davidual Aug 17th 2007 at 3:11 pm EDT
Hey, nice post! I've tried to post youtubes here (embeds), but I can't do it. Not fair!!;) It's been a great primary season for the Democrats to get their platform set for the open presidential campaign next yeasr. Don't cha think!!!

Check mout the post by Bentley Davis about Mr. Richardson's plan for the economy. Real good ideas coming from that cmp as well. Also, I hope Mr. Edwards is strengthening his position on health care to align more with Kucinich. Man, what an awesome field we have for president. One thing for sure this year the best man will be a democrat!!

Keep up the good fight!!

David Brooks' NYT column
By Jim Callahan Aug 17th 2007 at 3:52 pm EDT
Great post, it complements David Brooks' column "The Ascent of a Common Man" in this (Friday, August 17, 2007) morning's New York Times. David Brooks describes John Edwards as "a culturally conservative anti-Washington liberal" by which he means John Edwards emphasizes some personal responsibility ("cultural conservatism"), a fresh approach in Washington -- can't just depend on Washington insiders ("anti-Washington") and government programs that help real people meet their needs ("liberal").
