I think Joe will be the pick on Thursday by the presumptive nominee. He brings a similar gravitas that Lyndon B. Johnson brought to Kennedy. He is strong on foreign policy, much more thoughtful than John McCain; he brings a wealth of experience on issues ranging from Banking, Foreign Policy, health care - he has been on of the Senators on the front lines of many major issues important to democrats. He will strengthen the ticket more than any other potential VP - IMHO - What do you think?

Biden was always my choice for VP. All McCain talks about is how Obama lacks in foreign policy experience. Get Biden in there..he will give him a run for his money...and know who is who and even pronouce their names correctly.

I'm hoping Biden.

Biden has the name recongnition that we need - he has been in the national spotlight for the last 20 years so you know what you get - and he will kill anyone in a debate :)

I would support any of the Democrats who ran for President as well as Gen Wesley Clark.(although I hear that he has been ruled out)

But regardless, the one that Senator Obama chooses is the one that I also support.

I like Sam Nunn of GA....Biden is also a good selection...Obama needs a senior person that is expert in security/foreign affairs, etc....

I like Sam Nunn as well, he would be good in the administration, I beleive Obama would pull in the best democrats to help him in the administration and Nunn would be one of the first I would think of

Biden/Obama ticket

Biden is an empty suit with a big mouth. Yes, I know he is the chairman of the foreign relations committee and he’s widely considered the Democrats best hope for competing with Republicans on any kind of foreign policy decision making but saying that is kind of like saying Biden doesn’t stink quite as badly as a pile of 30 day old sun soaked garbage. In fact, I’m PRAYING that Obama chooses this lunatic for his VP because he is EASILY irritated and will slip up constantly, just like Obama. Realistically, Biden is probably the only real choice Obama has, Bayh is not only under qualified but also a weak choice. Tim Kaine can’t risk giving up his Governorship to a Republican in VA lest the Democrats risk losing a state they fought hard to win just recently and Hillary is NOT a foreseeable option for Obama. Really Biden is the only one left that Obama can choose to offset his lack of qualifications. Biden is a hot tempered, overbearing and irritable curmudgeon and McCain is going to look like a sweet, saintly old man compared to Joey B.
