i expect to hear less "my opponent" talk frm HRC and more party building. She has to in order to keep the party together. How can she not? I mean how do you tell someone in WV why they shouldn't vote for Barack and then 3 weeks later tell them why they should? It would hurt the party in the GE, unless that's her intention. I hate to believe that she'd do that.

yes, and no

When a nomination process is, has been, and continues to be as screwed over as this one, hanging in to the absolute final end is justified.

Dean bungled this thing in his attempt to make sure Obama had a fair shake. A whopping 50% of the voters are absolutely unhappy about the results. There is no landslide here. There is no mandate. There is the squeekiest little, shadow of a margin in Obama's favor.

White Ob'ers count and count the edge, it is NEVER enough to win by pledged delegates. If I were Hillary, I would have quit long ago. Her tanacity is EXACTLY the quality that half of all democrats believe makes her the ONLY serious contender for the general.

The timing of the process is also part of the rules. As MOB repeatedly reminds us, time will tell, and all will be well.

If the superdelegates stay on the side lines and it goes all the way to the convention neither one will win the nomination on the first ballot, the delegates are then released to vote for whoever they want, on the second ballot let Michigan & Florida vote then Hillary will win the nomination that is what the DNC and Obama Supporters are afraid of.
