United we stand. United we will win!

Aesop, I believe, said, "United we stand, divided we fall." That is what our Democratic Party is facing. It is time that we put our past behind us and begin looking forward to November. I was torn up until election day on who to vote for. By the time the primary came in Indiana I could see the writing on the wall that Sen. Obama was going to be the nominee. I congratulate Sen. Clinton on a wonderfully run campaign. She is, and would have been, an immensly strong and inspirational candidate.

BUT.

Sen. Obama has won the nomination and it is time for us all to work as hard as we can to make sure we send a message loud and clear in November: It is time! We have had enough! Senator Obama is our choice! I urge everyone who is feeling discouraged, hurt, even spurnned to look into the future and invision 8 years of John McCain, 8 more years in Iraq, 8 more years of tax cuts for the wealthy, 8 more years of Republicans in the Oval Office! We cannot afford to let our differences get in the way of our true goals. So. I ask you this my fellow Democrats: United we stand. OR Divided we fall. ???

We MUST put our differences behind us.  We MUST unite behind Barack.  We WILL win in November!  America cannot afford to stay on this course any longer.

IT IS TIME AMERICA.

Hopefully time will heal. I understand your pain. I am extremely disapointed Hillary didn't win, but I am infinatley more fed up with the Republican brand of government that I cannot imagine another 8 years. I respect Sen. McCain, but I am absolutely disgusted by what the "GOP" has done while in power. We cannot afford to let our emotions cloud judgment. Sorry for your pain. Use your head.

WHY?

The Democratic nomination process is changed at the convention eventually; but the states have their own rights to decisions as well.

It would be nice if Hillary had told the truth about the process instead of pretending she won when she actually lost BEFORE THE SUPERDELEGATES GOT INVOLVED.

If you want to hurt women, children, and perhaps get us into a nuclear war, though, go ahead and kill yourself. I'm already old.

If you skip voting for Obama - how can you say you'll fight for reforms in the Democratic Party? A non-vote for Obama is a vote for McCain. Not what I would call being a good Democrat.

You are absolutely right Elkhart Indiana Dem, absolutely 100% correct. If we don't unite, soon, we will have a hard road ahead.

I agree with you completely, but as you will soon find out, there are still some people who are just too angry and/or stubborn, to see things our way. Get ready for the traitors to comment on your blog. WE WILL PREVAIL, THOUGH!!!

"WE" will prevail?

Who is the "we" who will prevail? McCain supporters, people who are against choice, people who think children shouldn't have health care? Who is that "we" you're talking about?

Sorry, I reread your post. I was already angry from some other bunk posted by Hillary sheep who believe her outright lies about the votes and her winning anything. She lost in every category but deceit.

Now if we can find a way to get the message out to the masses. I have managed to change the minds of two of my friends who were determined to vote McCain if Hillary didn't win her bid. It's not much but it is two more in the left column. It's very hard for me to say Obama in '08 but I'm hoping it will become easier in time.
