Sick and tired of it.
I can sense a lot of weariness in Hillary supporters lately. This has no doubt been a long and exasperating ride. I, myself, am burned out. But, please, allow me to share some thoughts with you which may help us all to refocus. In my efforts to help the Hillary campaign, I've come across quite a few dreaded tasks:
--I dread the thought of of yet another rude, "sophisticated" Obama supporter on the other end of the line when I make calls.
--I dread having to be a witness to the constant sycophantic behavior of supposedly professional journalists swooning like teenagers in love anytime Obama's name is mentioned.
--I dread having to deal with the arrogant, smug, little punks who heard some Obama-esque statistic about how all of the Clinton supporters are poor, uneducated, unsophisticated, ignorant fools and so they feel it is their right to humiliate and belittle Clinton supporters online, on blogs, and even in person.
But mostly, I dread the fact that these self-important Obama supporters, with their pompous attitudes and presumptuous verbal attacks, are going to tear apart the Democratic Party. I know some of them are reading this right now and so to you I say:
I am not ignorant. I am not uneducated. And I am certainly not a fool. And yet, I still support Hillary Clinton. The verbal attacks on Clinton supporters will come back to haunt all of you Obama supporters as more and more people defect from Democratic Party because they can't bear to vote for your candidate. We all want a Democrat in the White House, but I guarantee you it won't happen without our support.
And so in closing, I say to all the Obama supporters who crash our Hillary groups, who try to preach to us in line at the market, who email us unsolicited material, who think they've found the Second Coming of Christ, I say to you loud and clear: I WILL SUPPORT HILLARY CLINTON WHETHER OR NOT SHE WINS THE NOMINATION, SO EITHER HELP ME GET HER ELECTED OR GET OUT OF MY UNSOPHISTICATED WAY.

I'm back! Nothing new about Lams here. If I don't see at least 5 it must be vacation time and all the Kuwaitis are in Europe, or someplace cool, temperature-wise. Ferrari's are a dime a dozen here, Aston Martins are a little less common. Ford F40....Bentlys by the dozen, saw my first of the new Audi R8s. AND most are driven nby kids in their twenties!
Breakfast was good.
Corporate Pilot
Have a good work out.
If you're going to man the phones in politics you are going to hear differing opinions and come across many different types of people. If you dread the thought of another rude person on the phones maybe you should give up the phones.
As far as anyone crashing your Hillary groups in the DNC, when you post in partybuilders it gets posted to the main page for all to see, it does not go to just the groups you belong to. If you don't want people responding to what you say in here maybe you should consider emailing or blogging on a Hillary only site, not a Democratic site; and I mean that with total respect.
Many of us in here are trying to put a stop to all the attacks going on in here regarding both Democratic nominees. The purpose of partybuilders is to build the party, unite it, not tear it down and attack each other.
I support Obama but I know all Clinton supporter are not uneducated
When I see Democrats being negative and tearing down candidates I feel they are ignorant
My husband has eight years of college and a masters degree, is co-owner of a small business, he's a very intelligent man and he's supporting Obama. I have a high school diploma, a masters in life and various training and licensing in different fields, I too support Obama.
"Obama-esque statistic about how all of the Clinton supporters are poor, uneducated, unsophisticated, ignorant fools and so they feel it is their right to humiliate and belittle Clinton supporters online, on blogs, and even in person."
Are you quoting someone or are those your words? As I stated above, many of us in here are trying to put a stop to all the attacks going on in here regarding both Democratic nominees. The purpose of partybuilders is to build the party, unite it, not tear it down and attack each other. If you are quoting someone you should say so.
Of course those were my words. I think you misunderstood them, though. I didn't say Obama supporters are uneducated. A lot of Obama supporters, though, DO say that Clinton supporters are ignorant and uneducated.
Clinton '08
Now, how long will that last?
Great post!
For God's sake...in a political election if you are going to take everything so damned personally, you are going to give yourself a heart attack and bother everyone around you whil you do it.
If you are going to support Clinton ountil death do you aprt...then you're delusional. She's a politician, just like Obama. They deserve our support...not our devotion.
You speak as though these people are deities.
They all shit and bleed like the rest of us.
This is a petition to stop Joe Andrew from his comments that will have supers jumping to Obama. Everyone in upcoming primaries should be able to vote, regadless of who wins. If you agree with it, please sign and distribute to everyone. I would like to send it before Tuesday's WV election.
