Post from Mr Bill's Blog:
I Am A Proud Supporter Of The Honorable Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton

I know I will catch heat and grief for this but I have thought about this for a while and have come to a conclusion that I have always supported and will always be a supporter of  The Honorable Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

With that said I have decided after much deliberation and some consternation to Honor her wishes and support Sen. Barack Hussein Obama for president. My reasons for this are as follows:

1. I love my family

2. I love my country

3. I have a responsibility to insure the GW Bush term is ended.

4. I trust the judgment of Sen Clinton and as she so eloquently phrased it “The differences among us are minor. The differences between us and the Republicans are major. And I don't want anybody in America to be confused. “

5. No More War

There are more but this should be enough for now.

I hope I have not disappointed anyone with my decision but this is to important for idealism to take precedence over reason and logic.
Thank youPeace Be With You And Yours

You have honored Hillary by trusting her judgement. You are a true hillary supporter and have done her proud! What made you decide?
Re: mr. Bill
By Mr Bill Jul 4th 2008 at 4:38 pm EDT
I am trusting her judgement and she was correct the differences between us Democrats and them Republicans is huge and we have suffered under this burden far to long. Also there is only a hairs breath difference between Sen Clintons positions and Sen Obama's
Yes, Bill.
By Vidya Jul 4th 2008 at 11:32 pm EDT
You have honored Hillary. We do not have the luxury to sit back and allow the repos to win, McCain would be a disaster for healthcare, environment, Iraq and education, just for starters.

Am glad you are a true democrat.

Welcome back.

MEL, BILL WOULD STILL DIE FOR HILLARY. IT'S NOT LIKE JIM A, WHO ASKED US TO STOP BEFORE PRIMARY SEASON. AND HE IS REGRETFUL. THEY DON'T WANT TO WIN BAD ENOUGH-- I VOTE HIM WITH HER AS VP. NOTHING ELSE.
But....

I am hardly here but do not forget I am here in spirit. I can hardly see that HRC wants to be VP but if God Forbid Obama theives his way to the Oval Office, she is the only chance to save us from the Hell he will break loose on U.S.

reminds me of the day on the open thread blogs here that I, an Edwards supporter, who had struggled with where to go and put my energy, announced that I had chosen Obama and why.

It was great, a huge weight off my shoulders----and I could get back in the YOKE and go back to the good works.

I was thrilled when 3 months later, the man I trusted, Edwards, validated my choice.

You are going to have so much more joy in your life now imo

What a Jackass. Do you really believe Obama will end the war as he promised in 16 months. Haven't you heard? Now he says that he will consult with the generals and then alter his plans on Iraq accordingly. He sounds too much like Bush. If anybody is more of a risk to destroy the Country is Obama. A reality check... Not Obama nor McCain have a magic wand to fix the mess left by Bush; don't be so naive.

Re: I find that very sad...
By Wendy ~Democrat For Life Jul 4th 2008 at 5:39 pm EDT
Yes Senator Clinton (the nominee I support) fought hard and she is doing the same now for our nominee as she wants a DEMOCRAT is office! And not that it's any of mine or your business for that matter but I don't see Mr. Bill doing a "protest vote" how the heck is THAT protecting your vote or your country???

Pressure? You crack me up, everyone of your posts sounds like a drug dealer trying to push something. 20 year olds LOL...the people here are VERY experienced and most have been involved in our political system much much longer then you. You do or did have a picture up remember?

Do you have one bit of evidence that our nominee had paid bloggers? Anything? And when I say evidence I mean cold, hard facts not something from a blog or YouTube?
See the only evidence of any paid bloggers I've ever seen is from McCain's website, and although it says "points" what are they?
Link

Want to talk about sad and lame?? Take a look at your post, you have someone that just poured his heart out and you pounce like a 4 year old...THAT IS LAME! Sad is the fact that you continue to post on the DNC party builder when all you want to do is tear this party apart, do you have nothing better to do with your time?? That is SAD!

Re: HISS BOO.....

Jennifer, the Cool Aid begins with the brainwashing people have been led to believe. First is their ideal that ideals are more pure and true than reality.

That kind of thinking is what caused the Catholic Jesuits to shift toward the Scientific Methodology of testing idealologies in the laboratory.

Of course, the laboratory is also a created structure. Yet from testing ideas and concepts in the lab we can begin to apply some of those truths in reality.

That is where the Cool Aiders fall short. They do not realize the the Pre-Scientists went down the path of idealism. That the correction of those self-reflected self-created ideals is to pop the bubble and look around and actually gather the statistics of reality.

They want to "Believeth" vs. "Knoweth from Experience". Their experiment with the Democratic Party is going to create all kinds of bubbles popping. We will all pay for their idealisism steeped in propsaganda.

WTF???
By Vidya Jul 6th 2008 at 3:06 am EDT
"they will call on Hillary to lead the way in this country to a Clinton proven past of Peace and Prosperity."

Huh??

Ok..let me make this clear, Hillary will not be running in 08, she is in no way open to that possibility (myth), at this point.

She is not, will not, consider the presidency for any reason, now.

Her name will come up during the convention, she will make an appearance, and then show her support for Obama.

She wants Obama to win, simply because none of us democrats want to see another republican waste 4 more precious years.

Democrat or republican.

Red or Blue

The choice is simple

Which one are you?

Thank you for your considering the stakes of this election. I was so very disappointed when Edwards' stopped his campaign. I know your disappointment is 10 times worse. However, we both love our country, love our Party and love our children.

Happy 4th, Bill.

Peace & hugs.

I agree
By Democrat in Gastonia, NC Jul 4th 2008 at 5:58 pm EDT
I could'nt agree with you more. I too am a huge Hillary supporter and worked exhaustively on her campaign, but now I pledge to help elect Obama. It was'nt easy, but it not only honors my beleifs as an American and Democrat, but Honors Hillary Clinton. The hate and disstractions do nothing to help Hillary, but rather take away from her message of unity and party loyalty.
Re: I agree
By Jacob Clark Jul 4th 2008 at 6:10 pm EDT
I too agree. And boy did I take some heat when I started supporting Obama. I will ALWAYS be a huge Hillary Clinton supporter. I love her books, and she did a marvelous job raising Chelsea.

Re: HISS BOO.....

no but McCain wants to escalate the war into Iran he has lost his maverick ways to the neo-cons
Right again Bill.
By Vidya Jul 4th 2008 at 11:41 pm EDT
We have only two choices left now.

McCain - War, educational, health care, economic disaster, total disaster.

or

Obama - Truth be told, he is our last hope now.

Sorry Jen, and Fem, Hill will not be riding into D.C. on a white horse to save the day. We, the democrats, for whatever reason, are now resolved to support Obama, or lose to republicans.

No mystery here, girls. Democrat or republican, the choice is yours.

You can vote for McCain if you want, but don't pretend you don't know PUMA and the other Just Say No Deal are republic party organizations created by republic party members.

Teach the DNC a lesson? Did you cut off your nose the first time you got a pimple?

I voted for Hillary twice (vote early, vote often), but it never crossed my mind not to support the Democratic nominee. If there was ever a time in the history of this country to support the interest of the people, it is now. If we don't get control of the government this election we may not get another chance. But you go ahead and vote against freedom to teach the DNC a lesson for the imaginary wrongs they did against Hillary.
Re: .
By Democrat in Santa Cruz, CA Jul 6th 2008 at 2:11 am EDT
Whatever kind of propaganda you propagate does not change the fact that PUMA was started by the true Democratic Patriots who supported HRC.

Look, puma is a cute idea....
By Vidya Jul 5th 2008 at 3:06 am EDT
but what on earth do you think it will accomplish other than to seal the deal for republicans.

It that what you want?

Do you want the republicans to win?

Re: .
By Bill Dickson Jul 5th 2008 at 9:06 pm EDT
You know damn well I have supported the party from day one. There was no one running (well, except Gravel) that I would not have whole-heartedly supported and I have made that clear from day one. I have also made clear from day one that I considered anyone who would vote for McCain or throw their vote away on a lost cause 3rd party to be acting very foolishly.

LOL you keep going on about this beauty thing..why? Do you have a problem with the way you feel about yourself? I never once in my post said anything about the way you looked other then you looked young LOL to me that would be a compliment.
And do remember no matter what you look like on the outside it's the inside that matters. Through your posts we've seen your beauty.

Sorry, Mr. Bill
By Dinah Kinley Jul 5th 2008 at 2:00 pm EDT
It is becoming obvious that this election is no longer about issues -- if it ever was. It's about race. If Obama came out in favor of $10 a gallon gas, he would still win. Discussing issues is a waste of time. Just like the lady singing the Black National Anthem at the opening of the Denver State of the City affair. Race is in control...and it will be many years before anything else matters in this country.

Obama even carries a replica of the Monkey God in his pocket--along with the Virgin Mary--nobody cares, it just doesn't matter. Obama can flip flop on the issues to his heart's content...it just doesn't matter any more. The only thing that matters in guiding our votes is the color of the candidates' skin.

www.barackobama.com will tell you more than you can possibly remember.

My thinking, though, is that you're using the "I don't know" mantra as a cover for an excuse to attack Obama.
