We had a visit from IKE here this past weekend the town I grew up, the town were a great deal of my childhood friends still live and the town which holds so many memories of my youth is devastated. I just got lights back and I got the internet back a few minutes ago it is hard to see my friends in such a state of distress I guess it never occurred to me that one day when I responded to the TXSERT it would be because those so close to my life would be in such a disaster.

Peace to you and yours

Mr. Bill - I am so happy you are well and glad you checked in - we were worried about you over at the other site. We are still saying prayers for you all in TX. (Jack and Paul got the reminants of Ike and are struggling without power in Indiana)

Ditto that, glad you had a home to return to as many have lost their homes.

I would like to meet the builder of the home located at 125 Bolivar Peninsula, Texas. He is the one I would have to build my next home.

Yes Mr. Bill, I have asked here if anyone had heard from you and well, you can look it up. Like posted above, we were worried about you on the other site. Our mutual friend is up by Dallas still and doesn't know if he has power or not. I think so cause his phone transferred this time.

I'm glad you are back in business and safe.

I'll talk to him after 9 when the minutes are free for him. He knows the damage as he stayed and didn't leave until 4:30 or so the next afternoon. His home did not have any damage as he had cut all of his trees after Rita but one and that one is snapped in half. He has some neighbors that have generators that are still there and we will know more after he calls them. His phone wasn't transferring before, but it is now, so I am guessing he does. Terry was good enough to look his address up form me on the link you provided as dial up is a pain. Just really, really glad to hear you are safe. I'll let the others worried about you know.

Good to hear from you Bill!

Hang in there bud----God doesn't ever give you more than you can handle---and all that stuff--
;-)
Many here will be very glad to hear that you have "checked in"

I feel like writing you a book lol---but will just let it go for now and thank you for coming here and would love to hear from you periodically how you and friends and family (your village) is moving forward, and any (if there is any) help that you are getting or giving.
