In America, We are suppose to have a representative government of ALL the people. A Nation of where Freedom and Liberty prevail....A Country where Every American Citizen should have the right to vote, and for those votes to be counted exactly the way the votes were cast.

ANYTHING LESS IS TAMPERING WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE VOTES.

The suggestion by some at the DNC to count only Half the votes of Florida and Half the votes in Michigan, and only give the delegates half a vote, UNDERMINES OUR DEMOCRACY AND THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

What we are seeing in this election, in the attempts to Silence and Suppress votes is something we would expect to see in an election in some Third World Country, with a dictator in control.

NOT IN AMERICA, AND NOT ON OUR WATCH.

If the Democratic National Committee wants to impose a Hefty fine on the Democratic State Parties of Michigan And Florida, Do that.

But, Do not disinfranchise the voices of over Two and a half Million Voters in Michigan and Florida.

WE ARE A COUNTRY OF 50 STATES OF THE UNION, NOT 48 STATES.

To the DNC:  Count ALL the votes, the way the voters voted, and seat ALL the Delegates, so that ALL 50 States are Fully represented at the convention. That is the way Democracy is suppose to work and that is what America STANDS For.

 GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Thank You. Please forward that to the DNC, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean....the people making the decisions.

I agree 100%, too. It is the right of every citizen to have their votes counted wholly, and completely. To do otherwise is disenfranchisement.

ahem... but don't give any to Barack Obama, right?

Utrecht also made clear the campaign will not accept a resolution in Michigan that awards Obama any delegates, since the Illinois senator took his name off the ballot there.

"Neither the DNC Rules nor the Michigan Delegate Selection Plan allow arbitrary reallocation of Uncommitted delegates to a candidate or arbitrary reallocation of delegates from one candidate to another," [Clinton lawyer Lyn Utrecht] wrote.

This ISN'T THE FIRST TIME

Michigan tried to move its primary forward in 2000 and 2004 and the threat of sanctions by then party chait (now Hillarybot) Terry McAuliffe were so severe they backed off.

The last time, McAuliffe told Carl Levin, "If you even THINK about moving your primary forward to January don't bother coming to Boston because YOU WILL NOT BE SEATED".

In August 2006, Michigan and Florida PLEDGED IN WRITING in agreement with all other remaining states to abide by the calendar that the party set - Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina then Super Tuesday. Florida and Michigan CHEATED.

And you're complaining because the party rules dictate that the minimum sanction for cheaters is seating half the delegates or seating all the delegates and only giving them 1/2 a vote each? These were the rules which Florida and Michigan AGREED in 2006.

The next time a fellow student cheats on an exam and gets caught, or a co-worker steals from the company and gets caught, I'd love to know your thinking.

"Give Johnny the A. I know he cheated, but you shouldn't punish him". "Let Mary keep the $10,000 she stole, and her job. I know she's a thief, and you will have to take the money out of the payroll, but I don't begrudge giving her $1,000 of my paycheck because I believe in the principle that thieves should never be punished. The ones who should be punished are the non-thieves and non-cheaters! It's the American way!"
