No, what he's saying is that Obama is helping to energize the Democratic Party by attracting new blood. If he thinks Obama can defeat McCain, who's back by the wealthy, white, greedy corporate bosses as well as much of white America, he's deluded. Even those of us who have no problem with a person of color as president, and I am among them, have to acknowledge that this is not the person. He's all frosting, no cake. And the GOP will tear him apart on that.

If he is our nominee he will get MASSIVE grass roots support, and hopefully your support too. If it is Clinton who will be our nominee, I would feel the same.

More dreaming on your part. He's still neutral and backed both of them in that little article you just one sided!

EDWARDS ON OBAMA

"What he brings to the table is the capacity, number one, to unite the Democratic Party. Number two, to bring in new voters, to bring in people who haven't been involved in the process over a long time and to get people excited about this change," Edwards said.

With just 217 delegates at stake in the final six contests, Clinton has no realistic chance of overtaking Obama in the number of pledged delegates who will help pick the nominee at the August Democratic convention. She will also almost certainly trail him in total votes cast in state-by-state nominating contests that began in January."

What he's saying is that Obama is helping to energize the Democratic Party by attracting new blood. If he truly believes the party line that he's quoting, that he thinks Obama can defeat McCain, who's back by the wealthy, white, greedy corporate bosses as well as much of white America, he's deluded. Even those of us who have no problem with a person of color as president, and I am among them, have to acknowledge that this is not the person. He's all frosting, no cake. And the GOP will tear him apart on that.

He has managed to split the party wide open! Nothing else!

Thank you...

however, so many of you are still missing the whole picture. No ONE candidate is going to fix the problems of This great Nation, the United States of America...we have allowed the responsibility of the people to be governed under one rule...one rule does not help but a select few.

We need deperately to down size the Universal element of our Government. One way to do this is to put the people affairs back on State level, where this is manageable and managable by what applies. It then allows the American to become responsible again for thousands and thousands of these petty bills & laws. The House needs to be cleaned out to prevent control of the power houses and of corruption opportunities.

We need to have less Government and more people involvement, less demands on our system and more moral values instilled.

Selecting a President at this point and time does no good...just more Univeral views...placed on bilateral and diverse States.

I hear what you are saying, but there are many ways to get involved in your government. Have you ever though about running for office yourself?
City Board? School Board, State Rep? Or support your local candidates on the issues that matter most to you.

All politics is local

That is the problem...a political view...what happened to common sense, economics, understanding the situation and finding a solution...instead we are inundated with LB's & HR's...laws that must apply across the board...no room for the situation at hand. It is not an individual application...it is a Universal applicaiton...if one State is mandated to follow a specific guideline...then all states must implement the same guideline...therefore...even if it applies or not you are taxed for this implementation. Ex. California has an emmissions tax...now all states must implement an emmsions tax...they may call it different but in order to get money from this particular fund...

And that's a truth we'll never see realized in our lifetimes.

Yes, but (typical male) A new CEO (President Obama) could get this country on the road to prosperity. We need leadership that we haven't had in eight long years! The CEO can't do it him (her) self, but he (she) can get people involved we can change in a hurry. Look how far (down) we've come since 2000.

Hold the line...we have had leaders since the beginning of time...then the people got lazy and turned their life over to the Government despite all the warnings to the people...then JFK comes along and rallies the people to take back their government control...and he is killed...since then the american people have continued to hand over every aspect of their existance and now the existance of their children. God Bless America
