How does this help Richardson "end the war"? Seems to me that a governor has very little authority to do much about the continuance of the war.

This going to Congress and Congress can invoke the War Powers Act.

senator clinton introduced legislation to deauthorize the war in may. may 3rd, to be precise, on the senate floor, with senator byrd.

What is the status of this bill to de-authorize(end funding) the Occupation of Iraq ? Did Kusinich also introduce legislation similar to this? Maybe we need to find a way to support these bills-a boycott, non-violent actions, burning bras!?
I am mailing mailers back to candidates that say Impeach Bush/cheney...Stop the War Now!
