Upon researching Doug Parris further (see my previous blog entry), I found a site where his name came up because of an email that apparently an Army of God member had sent someone who didn't like the message and made it public at the The Rev. Bookburn Archives Scroll near the bottom to the Michael Bray email.

Note that the distribution list for the email seems to contain exclusively known Army of God members.

Note also, that Doug Parris of the King County Republican Party (Washington State) is on that distribution list.

I urge any Washington State Democrats reading this to bring this to the attention of the local media, the local blogs, and most importantly, the people of Seattle.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD ABORTION CLINIC
TO CLOSE DURING PAUL HILL DAYS

Milwaukee has been chosen as the site for Paul Hill Days on July 26th to 29th. Paul Hill Days is a series of events honoring the Presbyterian pastor who killed a Pensacola abortionist and his bodyguard. The event will coincide with the thirteenth anniversary of Paul Hill's defensive actions.
Since plans for Paul Hill Days have become public, Planned Parenthood has stopped performing abortions in Milwaukee and does not plan to resume until after the conclusion of Paul Hill Days.
This is the first event to be held outside of Florida to honor Paul Hill and his teachings. Paul Hill taught that "Unborn children should be defended the same way we would defend born children." He claimed that it was Biblically lawful to use force, even lethal force, to defend unborn children from abortion. His last words before being executed were, "May God help you to defend the unborn as you would want to be defended."
The event is sponsored by a diverse group of pro-life organizations from around the country. Planned events include a parade with a marching band, a public proclamation at the Federal Building, and other activities throughout the weekend. Events originally scheduled for Planned Parenthood have been moved to Affliated Medical Services, which will be the venue for the first ever Paul Hill Re-enactment.
Pro-choice leaders have characterized the event as radical and extreme. But George Wilson with Children Need Heroes, himself an ordained Presbyterian pastor, states: "Paul Hill simply applied the Golden Rule to babies facing abortion." Drew Heiss, founder of Streetpreach, an evangelistic ministry, says, "Paul Hill valiantly killed a mass murderer, preventing the death of countless babies. He had the courage to do what was right."

Dear King County Republican Elected Officials,

I thought I would bring this to your attention, because it involves a prominent member of the King County Republican Party.

I was researching a certain Terrorist who showed up at a political event in Iowa last Monday, and in that research found a handful of websites showing support for the Army of God Terrorist in question, Dan Holman. You can read more about this Terrorist at http://TerrorismIsTerrorism.wordpress.com/

One of the websites my research led me to is a website called http://TheReaganWing.wordpress.com/ run by Doug Parris.

I posted a comment to Doug's supportive piece of the Army of God Terrorist, where I gave Doug the Terrorist's own webpage at the Army of God website, as well as the master homepage at http://www.ArmyOfGod.com/ as well as a brief history of their Terrorist activities across the CONUS, then asked Doug why he would support such a member of the most notorious and most active Terrorist group on United States soil.

Doug's response was to not post my comment publically (all comments at his blog must be cleared through him before they get posted, in this case he declined), he then accused me of being someone I'm not, lied about his support for the Army of God Terrorist, then went on to deny that a self-professed Army of God Terrorist is a member of Army of God, and further openly denied their well-known Terrorist acts! At the same time, he publically posted my IP address, which apparently initiated a cyber-Terrorist Denial of Service attack against my home.

I gave Doug over 24 hours to remove my IP address from his website, to apologize for lying, to apologize to me on that page, and to direct his readers to the Terrorist's own webpage at the Terrorist group's website. He refused. I don't tolerate cyber-Terrorism, nor do I back off when I find a Terrorist supporter in the United States.

My options right now, of which you are just one, involve the press, widespread dissemeniation of this story via blogs, as well as filing cyber-Terrorism charges for the illegal Denial of Service network attack against my home.

I would appreciate it if you would address his open and unapologetic support of members of the most notorious Terrorist group on US soil, and his utilization of illegal computer attacks against people he disagrees with, at your next Party Central/Executive Committee meetings. If I lived there, and if I was a member of your Party, I'd put forward motions to expel him from the Party apparatus, and to censure him from further party activities. From my research on the "man" over the past day, I think it's a good bet that such votes are likely to pass if moved in your local and State Party. When those who are radical-right extremists call him extremist, you know something is wrong.

On a side note, I worked at USN PACMISTESTCEN (USN Pacific Missile Test Center, Point Mugu, CA) in the mid to late 80's. Ronald Reagan used to park his plane in VXE-6's hangar all the time. I met the man on several occassions, and I can honestly say he would spit in the face of Parris.

I would appreciate it if you can deal with this issue locally. Doug is dangerous, and now he's in open, knowing, support of Terrorists.

Since I don't know which ones of you are Doug's friends, I won't sign this. You should, though read things in both Doug's own words (based on my research, I'm sure that most of you believe me anyway on this), and read the words of both Dan Holman at his website, and the Army of God at theirs.

What the Right just doesn't seem to understand is that Terrorism is Terrorism.

Okay, first of all , I have to disclose something. There's a reason why I don't write posts about Social issues pertaining to the Gay Community. I simply don't know enough to offer an informed opinion. I will sign petitions , vote on issues in your behalf and all that , but I tend to stick more to issues involving your Legal Rights as opposed to the Social ones because I am ignorant to your lifestyle and I don't know when to defend or when to ignore. I admittedly , cannot tell what you find an offensive stereotype or what you are okay with. But something I am seeing in the News has me scratching my head I feel like taking action on it. It's a stereotype concern involving your lifestyle .

Civil rights leader joins grassroots movement for change

 

MANCHESTER, NH—Bishop Gene Robinson, a civil rights leader and a leading voice in the faith community, announced today that he has joined Barack Obama’s movement for change.  On a conference call with reporters, Robinson said he believes that Obama’s faith and background as a community organizer and civil rights lawyer make him uniquely qualified to advance our government’s commitment to equality and compassion for those “for whom America is not working so well.”

Last night was a special night for Edwards' supporters and for people who wanted to learn more about the campaign. Across the nation people gathered in homes, restaurants, bars and meeting rooms to discuss the campaign, why they were supporting John Edwards, ask questions about issues and share ideas. I attended a meeting in Austin, Texas with 15 people who were all avid supporters and really did not have a lot of questions but the reasons we were all supporting John Edwards were different yet similar. I will share some of the stories and reason with and apologize since I do not remember all of the people's names and did not write them down.
