About the Author
OK now it is my turn....... This is my little Blog ( published on a mere six sites) so permit me to talk about the two Bush's and how they have brought down our country almost single handedly. Then I want to talk about the aging hunchback.

Bush ( the elder) came from Langley ( the CIA) and was brainwashed by the system of Alan Dulles who started the CIA. The CIA is and always has been an autonomous company that operates on it;s own agenda. If you believe that Congress oversight is sufficient or is informed of all their doings I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. There Texas cowboys still live in the wild West and view the world as their personal oyster. Be it Iran - Contra or Abu Ghraib the CIA is at the forefront. The CIA is a rule bending, terrorist organization that operates in the "my way or the highway" mentality.   Read More »

Based on protests against the Iraq war, on October 26, 2002 (over 100,000 protestors in Washington and 50,000 in San Francisco) at least 150,000 Americans had enough sense to know that invading Iraq was not a wise thing to do (among them one of the three presidential candidates) and based on the fact that 154 congress people had enough sense to vote against the war (Unfortunately, the 154 did not include either of the remaining two presidential candidates).

Don’t we want to elect a president who has demonstrated that he is at least as smart as the American people when it comes to making a judgment call regarding the invasion of another nation, or will we choose the candidate who has recently promised to obliterate Iran, or perhaps the one who has promised to stay there for 100 years?

Obama 08

I am so disgusted that the only things the media in this country can focus on are the issues they've created that have nothing whatsoever to do with either Barack Obama's or Hillary Clinton's ability to be President of the United States. That in turn has caused over half of the United States to believe those are the important issues in determining our next President. One of those issues they should be focusing and one I believe is at the top of most Americans minds is the Iraq War.

Here are some current facts:

The American Deaths are now at 4061, the total wounded is 29,829. Forty-nine American Soldiers have been killed in the Iraq War this month and three, in Afghanistan.

Five hundred and five, 505, Iraqi citizens were killed or found dead in just one week this month, April 2008.  There is an estimated 1,205,025 civilians killed since this war started.

There are currently 320,000 soldiers that have received brain injuries and at least 300,000 soldiers that are now suffering from major depression and post traumatic stress; this represents soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001.

This is a war Hillary Clinton voted for and defended, one she refuses to apologize for.

In Hillary Clinton’s Floor Speech on A Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq dated October 10, 2002 she says,   Read More »

Donahue was among the first personalities on television to speak out against the war and he paid a price for it.

Back in 2003 Phil Donahue lost his MSNBC talk show.  He got memo telling him that his bosses were concerned that he was turning his show into "a home for the liberal antiwar agenda at the same time that our competitors are waving the flag at every opportunity."

Instead of "going gently into the dark night of retirement", Donahue collaborated with Ellen Spiro to create a documentary which premiered last month at the Toronto International Film Festival.  It is a heart-wrenching story of an American Soldier who was wounded in Baghdad.  The audience gave it a 10 minute standing ovation.

I look forward to seeing it.  If you are interested, for dates and cities, go to

Exactly one on half months ago a troubled mother just finishes her visit to the Arlington Cemetery were her son rest in peace she speaks to a reporter of NPR Radio and she quote “If there are someone guilty for my losses and the losses of other parents like me in this war, is the Americans media, they only need one week broadcasting the atrocity of this war” and am I totally sure in less of a weak this war is over.

She was absolutely right; it is amazing how cowardly and complacent was the media covering this war.

They have a lot to explain to the public why if they believe in the FREEDOM of information, they surrounded this FREEDOM to the government of Mr. Bush.

The media have a lot of responsibility in this mess.

They look like a puppet instrument of this administration.

In that way they deserve a warmed “Welcome to the third world”

Another Busy Week â" Less Than 1 Day To Go!!!

I started out the week on Monday with a trip to State College to meet with the PSU College Democrats. I took the time to give special thanks to the PSU Dems for their hard work getting students registered to vote in this election. It really is encouraging to see how interested young voters throughout the district are about this election. I think our young people realize that they have to get involved and make a difference in this election.   Read More »

IRAQ (The Media Line) April 8, 2008 " Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki announced on Monday he would ban a powerful Shi'ite parliamentary bloc from running in the next local elections unless it disarmed its 60,000-strong armed force.

The 'Sadri parliamentary bloc, led by Muqtada A-'Sadr, responded by saying it would disarm its armed force, known as the Mahdi Army, only if the Shi'ite religious authorities ordered them to do so.

"The Mahdi Army does not accept its orders from anyone except A-'Sadr and the religious authorities with whom he consults. Ten things you should know about John McCain.

1. John McCain voted against establishing a national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Now he says his position has "evolved," yet he has continued to oppose key civil rights laws.1

2. According to Bloomberg News, McCain is more hawkish than Bush on Iraq, Russia and China. Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says McCain "will make Cheney look like Gandhi."2

3. His reputation is built on his opposition to torture, but McCain voted against a bill to ban Waterboarding, and then applauded President Bush for vetoing that ban.3

4. McCain opposes a woman's right to choose. He said, "I do not support Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned."4

5. The Children's Defense Fund rated McCain as the worst senator in Congress for children. He voted against the children's health care bill last year, then defended Bush's veto of the bill.5

6. He is one of the richest people in a Senate filled with millionaires. The Associated Press reports he and his wife own at least eight homes! Yet McCain says the solution to the housing crisis is for people facing foreclosure to get a "second job" and skip their vacations.6

7. Many of McCain's fellow Republican senators say he is too reckless to be commander in chief. One Republican senator said: "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."7

8. McCain talks a lot about taking on special interests, but his campaign manager and top advisers are actually lobbyists. The government watchdog group Public Citizen says McCain has 59 lobbyists raising money for his campaign, more than McCain has any of the other presidential candidates.8

9. McCain has sought closer ties to the extreme religious right in recent years. The pastor McCain calls his "spiritual guide," Rod Parsley, believes America's founding mission is to destroy Islam, which he calls a "false religion." McCain sought the political support of right-wing preacher John Hagee, who believes Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for gay rights and called the Catholic Church "the Antichrist" and a "false cult."9

10. He positions himself as pro-environment, but he scored a zero"yes, zero"from the League of Conservation Voters last year.10

John McCain is not who the Washington press corps make him out to be. Please help get the word out"forward this email to your personal network. And if you want us to keep you posted on MoveOn's work to get the truth out about John McCain, sign up here:

In the Democratic Party radio address today, former presidential candidate and chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Comittee, Joe Biden, blasted the Bush Administration's lack of strategy, policy and common sense.

"We Democrats understand that this war must end so that America can regain the credibility to lead around the world and the flexibility to meet our challenges here at home," Biden remarked. "That's what the American people want - and it's what America's security needs."

Biden cited the topmost errors by the White House include the continued loss of the lives and limbs of our soldiers - every day, and the emotional and economic strain on our military families due to repeated, extended tours - lasting up to 15 months.

"I believe the President has no strategy for success in Iraq," Biden continued. "His plan is to muddle through -- and hand the problem off to his successor. Our troops and their families deserve better than that."

The general U.S. news media continues to report on the number of U.S. casualties - over 4000 dead and more than 30,000 wounded, not to mention coalition and contractor casualties. While this alone is disturbing, the news media should also report on the total number of Iraqi dead and casualties - several hundred thousand dead and about a million wounded to date. That's about 5% of their population. Thats like us having 15 million casualties. Thats pretty shocking. Reporting those numbers allows us to better judge the impact and 'success' of our war.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees found that more than 2.2 million people have been displaced inside the country, while a further 2.2 million have fled to neighbouring countries, thats almost 20% of the countrys population. That's like 60 million American being forced to leave our homes or our country.

Are we really winning? What does that term really mean to George Bush and John McCain? I haven't even mentioned the hundreds of billions of our U.S. tax dollars spent on this venture. What is the real cost of this war? Lets take another look at the numbers, all the numbers. Its time to get out.

On the road to clinching the Republican Party nomination for president, John McCain worked hard for the endorsement of influential Evangelical Christian ministers.

The ministers are helping shore up McCain's support on the party's right wing, which has always been skeptical about whether the Arizona senator is a true-blue conservative.

But one of those minister's beliefs about Islam and Muslims raise disturbing questions.

Rod Parsley, the pastor of a large and profitable Ohio mega-church, calls Islam a false religion. He says Allah is a demon spirit and that Muslims are bent on world conquest.

Parsley endorsed McCain in February, praising him as a "strong, true, consistent conservative".

we have just passed a grim mile stone in Iraq. early this week the 4,000th soldier was killed in Iraq. We started this war for no reason, We keep setting the goal post back, and we keep letting our best men and women die needlessly. 1.2 Million Iraqis have died. We are caught in the middle of a civil war. McCain wants to keep us in Iraq for 100 years.

I am outraged at Clinton Democrats who are going to stay home in November. You have the power to stop this by Voting Obama in 2008.

I am also Insulted by People who say "the Surge is working". Though There have been less American deaths and a stable amount of Iraqi deaths there is something wrong with the Idea of the surge. The fact is the people who are dying are still dying needlessly. a reduction in numbers won't change that and the truth is if one soldier dies needlessly it is still a sin (Morally, not religiously). I am angered at the argument that "There are less people dying" for this very reason.

The next president must end the war. staying at home because your mad that Hillary lost, or voting for McCain because she lost is just enabling this needless war to go on.
(This post is for everyone; but I wondering if anyone out there can pass this a long to the Clinton and Obama campign. This is a good chance for them to show up and give there thoughts about Terrorism. Maybe I was just dreaming, but it never hurt to try.)

So? ... A Note from Michael Moore

Monday, March 24th, 2008

Friends,

It would have to happen on Easter Sunday, wouldn't it, that the 4,000th American soldier would die in Iraq. Play me that crazy preacher again, will you, about how maybe God, in all his infinite wisdom, may not exactly be blessing America these days. Is anyone surprised?

4,000 dead. Unofficial estimates are that there may be up to 100,000 wounded, injured, or mentally ruined by this war. And there could be up to a million Iraqi dead. We will pay the consequences of this for a long, long time. God will keep blessing America.

And where is Darth Vader in all this? A reporter from ABC News this week told Dick Cheney, in regards to Iraq, "two-thirds of Americans say it's not worth fighting." Cheney cut her off with a one word answer: "So?"

"So?" As in, "So what?" As in, "F*** you. I could care less."

I would like every American to see Cheney flip the virtual bird at the them, the American people. Click here and pass it around. Then ask yourself why we haven't risen up and thrown him and his puppet out of the White House.

The Democrats have had the power to literally pull the plug on this war for the past 15 months -- and they have refused to do so. What are we to do about that? Continue to sink into our despair? Or get creative? Real creative. I know there are many of you reading this who have the chutzpah and ingenuity to confront your local congressperson. Will you? For me?

Cheney spent Wednesday, the 5th anniversary of the war, not mourning the dead he killed, but fishing off the Sultan of Oman's royal yacht. So? Ask your favorite Republican what they think of that.

The Founding Fathers would never have uttered the presumptuous words, "God Bless America." That, to them, sounded like a command instead of a request, and one doesn't command God, even if they are America. In fact, they were worried God would punish America. During the Revolutionary War, George Washington feared that God would react unfavorably against his soldiers for the way they were behaving. John Adams wondered if God might punish America and cause it to lose the war, just to prove His point that America was not worthy. They and the others believed it would be arrogant on their part to assume that God would single out America for a blessing. What a long road we have traveled since then.

I see that Frontline on PBS this week has a documentary called "Bush's War." That's what I've been calling it for a long time. It's not the "Iraq War." Iraq did nothing. Iraq didn't plan 9/11. It didn't have weapons of mass destruction. It DID have movie theaters and bars and women wearing what they wanted and a significant Christian population and one of the few Arab capitals with an open synagogue.

But that's all gone now. Show a movie and you'll be shot in the head. Over a hundred women have been randomly executed for not wearing a scarf. I'm happy, as a blessed American, that I had a hand in all this. I just paid my taxes, so that means I helped to pay for this freedom we've brought to Baghdad. So? Will God bless me?

God bless all of you in this Easter Week as we begin the 6th year of Bush's War.

God help America. Please.

(WASHINGTON D.C., 3/24/08) - A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today said the tragic milestone of 4,000 military personnel killed in Iraq reinforces the need to withdraw America's armed forces from that country.

The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said the war's five-year military and civilian death toll has severely damaged America's security and international image.

In a statement, CAIR National Director Tahra Goraya said:

"After the tragic deaths of 4,000 American military personnel and of uncounted thousands of Iraqi civilians, we are less secure and less respected as a nation. As we enter the sixth year of this war, it is time to finally withdraw our troops and to do what we can to mitigate the damage caused by our unjustified and counterproductive invasion of Iraq."

CAIR, America's largest Islamic civil liberties group, has 35 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
