Barack Obama addresses 15,000 people in downtown Charlotte.
Sorry, I forget how to make this a hyper link but you can just copy it and paste it in the address window of your Internet browser:

or go to youtube.com and in the search window in the grey bar near the top of the page search for: ads lies
Brave New PAC has a petition you can sign to ask McCain to stop running the ad, and the video asks viewers to send it to their friends, so if you think the video is worth seeing, rate this post well so it will get into the highest rated posts for awhile, so more people will see it.
Thank you.

My son just made me aware of this video on YouTube. It's from a police car cam and it shows a traffic stop that goes bad. The driver of the car ends up on the wrong end of a taser.
In the 3 days the video has been on YouTube, over a half-million people have viewed it. It's about 10 minutes long and can be disturbing. Everyone survives.
Did the driver deserve to be tasered? What's your take on it?
I received this email from youtube today... After being flagged by members of the YouTube community and reviewed by YouTube staff, the video below has been removed due to its inappropriate nature. PHONEY SOLDIERS by Rush Limbaugh: The YouTube Team -- This was my response back to them: I was very saddened to receive an email telling me you removed a video I uploaded... You did not tell me why, just a vague reference that it was flagged by members as being inappropriate. Did you read the comments on that particular video? The negative ones were all Rush Limbaugh supporters but there were many positive ones also. I know it is your server and you can do as you please with any video but it sure seems unfair that members can flag a video that doesn't agree with their ideology as inappropriate and thus its removed, without rebuttal. Sad but true fact of life in what we think is a democracy. Thanks, thinkingblue ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the website www.thethinkingblue.com is a remake of the Rush Limbaugh video from YOUTUBE The only changes I made were the pictures. The original film had images of the devastation of war, on all people involved, the men, women and children caught in the horrors of war. I don't know why YOUTUBE pulled the video but I thought perhaps it was because of those sad pictures. We Americans get a WHITEWASHED version of the war and maybe YOUTUBE wanted to keep it that way. But if it was because of what Rush Limbaugh said on the uncut audio of his show and YOUTUBE was protecting him... THE SHAME IS ON YOUTUBE, who like so many on the right spin, twist and cajole TRUTH until it no longer resembles actuality, just so it will fit their account of reality. You can also view the video on the camaroz28 server: www.camaroz28.com Also I have put the video remake on thinkingblue blog Thanks, thinkingblue aka Carolyn

***My friend (an english teacher) in S. Korea told me
that many Koreans are mad as hell at Clinton for her
words. Many there wanted a president who would start
out without negative rhetoric. They had hoped to build
positive relationships with their relatives up north,
but many fear it will go backwards***
well the fear of propaganda is already out there NOW.
Hillary is now seen in Korea as another BUSH !

I have a transcript of all questions and intend to comment on each one. Here is a sample:
Let's turn international now. We've got a lot of international questions. Let's listen. QUESTION: I'm Gabriel. And I'm Connie, from a refugee camp near Darfur. Before you answer this question, imagine yourself the parent of one of these children. What action do you commit to that will get these children back home to a safe Darfur and not letting it be yet another empty promise? COOPER: Governor Richardson, what are you going to do? Would you commit American troops? COOPER: You say U.N. troops. Does that mean American troops? COOPER: Senator Biden, in the past, you've talked about NATO troops. What about American troops? COOPER: Senator Clinton, would you agree with Senator Biden? American troops should got to Darfur? COOPER: How about American troops on the ground? COOPER: Just in the spirit of trying to get the answer, does that mean no American ground troops?
SW-this line of questioning is pathetic and gives the impression that Americans have a responsibility to end suffering everywhere it occurs. The Chinese practically own Sudan now and I don't want my country trying to solve global problems on its own; when the other nations of the world are willing to pony up to stop genocide, fine. Proper question: Do you believe the Chinese are blocking solutions in Sudan and what can be done about it? CNN wants it asked this way to stir up racial issues, like reparations, where the American people are divided, or there is very little public support.
COOPER: OK, want to talk about Iraq tonight. Before we do, I just want to put a picture up on the screen. Our first question on Iraq tonight comes from Barry Mitchell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. QUESTION: Mitch from Philadelphia. My question for all the candidates: How do we pull out now? And the follow-up, are we watching the same blankin' war? I certainly wasn't a big fan of the invasion/liberation. It sickens me to hear about soldiers wounded and getting killed daily, not to mention innocent Iraqis, but how do we pull out now? The government's shaky; bombs daily. Don't you think if we pulled out now that would open it up for Iran and Syria, God knows who -- Russia -- how do we pull out now? And isn't it our responsibility to get these people up on their feet? I mean, do you leave a newborn baby to take care of himself? How do we pull out now? COOPER: Senator Obama, how do we pull out now? COOPER: Senator Biden, how do we pull out now? That was the question.
SW: The world will end if we pull out now...oh no! A better question-You have all called for withdrawing combat troops from Iraq. What role, if any to do foresee the US military playing in Iraq after combat troops are redeployed? Can you estimate the number and duration.
COOPER: Another question on Iraq. QUESTION: Thank you for taking my question. The 2006 election gave the Democrats in office a mandate to end the U.S. occupation of Iraq. Since that time, 800 of our military service members have died there. As the mother of an American soldier deploying to Iraq for a second time, I would like to know if the perception is true that the Democrats are putting politics before conscience. How many more soldiers must die while these political games continue in our government? Is the reason why we are still in Iraq and seemingly will be for some time due to the Democrats' fear that blame for the loss of the war will be placed on them by the Republican spin machine? COOPER: Senator Clinton? COOPER: Congressman Kucinich, the Democrats have been in power for seven months. Nothing has changed in Iraq. Senator Dodd, you're in the Congress. What about it? You've been in power seven months now. Nothing's changed in Iraq. COOPER: The question, though, is: Are the Democrats playing politics?
SW- the worst line of questioning so far. 2006 was a *no confidence in GWB election*, to read more into it is wishful thinking. Any idiot should know that when president is of one party and Congress is a different party, with slim majority in the Senate, gridlock always occurs, and all that can be done is political posturing to get a stronger majority in the next election. This just feeds the unrealistic expectations of the apathetic average American that watches Paris Hiltons every move, not Cheneys. CNN likes it because they have talking heads that reinforce such a naive view of power, who has it and what can be really achieved.
QUESTION: My name is Don. I'm from West Virginia. My question is for Mike Gravel. In one of the previous debates you said something along the lines of the entire deaths of Vietnam died in vain. How do you expect to win in a country where probably a pretty large chunk of the people voting disagree with that statement and might very well be offended by it? I'd like to know if you plan to defend that statement, or if you're just going to flip-flop. Thanks.
SW:CNN is trying to be fair to Gavel, oh how sweet. Gavel doesn't even expect to be in the next debate, unless he is insane.
COOPER: Senator Obama, are the soldiers dying in Iraq in vain? COOPER: To the question of, did the troops -- are the troops dying in vain, though: Yes or no? COOPER: Senator Edwards, are the troops -- did the troops in Vietnam die in vain?
SW-a question right out of Karl Rove's platbook. They're dead. Its a shame. Its GWBs fault. CNN just wants someone to slip up and say yes they were all stupid and died for nothing. ASK JOHN KERRY
More to follow.
