I guess we were suppose to think that the Civil War was just about freedom. But what we're seeing today in a corrupt government isn't anything new. That was the reason for so many safeguards being put in place upon the Federal Authority.

As you may have read, I have already established that the "Law of the Land" does not apply to the states, but is the boundaries in which what it has established must abide by, or lose it's powers forever, or until granted again by convention of the several states.

The same  rules that apply to a contract between two parties when one party doesn't meet the obligation.  In reality, there are very few people in Congress who haven't broken the good faith people have put in them, and violated the law of the land.  It cannot easily be said that because the law had not been known, that no low would have been broken.  But to be perfectly honest, I'm tired of letting things slide just in hopes of an honest electable person to show up.  I can't say that is Mr. Obama, because FISA was the "No Way in Heck!" moment.  To choose to have a persons rights violated, those inviolable rights we all as human beings deserve.  Sure, I would love to be wealthy beyond worry... but not if it means stealing from another.

Public Utilities have become deregulated.  Why?  Because it's a business that we always be around.. and an easy increase in a city of millions, makes a whole lot more.  But that, as we have seen, still ends in a company going bankrupt.

Interesting enough, I found that as far back as 1992, an audit was done on certain mortgage lenders, and some questionable practices were occuring.  It seems that when they received money from a disclosure, they didn't immediately att this money to the books.  Sometimes taking 4-5 months after they received the money to apply it to the principle.  But that didn't prevent them from paying those who invested in the loans.  They received large amounts of dividends while the Federal Reserve was guaranteeing on a monthly basis any dollar amounts not paid to ensure a minimum return on the interest was gained.

If it comes out of the Federal Reserve, it means it costs Americans money.  Question that I can't seem to figure out is... since 90% of our deficit is due to the interest owed... how can we owe interest on our own paper money?  It wasn't actually loaning of anything valuable, but what was once based on something of actual value.  I found it intigueing someone actually asked Senator Obama for his opinion on the economy, the promise made when establishing the Federal Reserve (Unconstitutional btw unless it benefits the people) and this was his chance to impress upon me something...   I was interested in hearing something knew, and he laughed at her, dismissed her question as an uneducated (seemingly to me) perception of economy.   How sad.  But I must go further and make sure that I stress that McCain is not a choice.  I have some sympathy for him, because it seems as if he's trying to rise a position that would have been higher than any member of his family had ever gotten in the Military by becoming Commander and Chief.

This country doesn't need the continuance of a cock fight that in all honesty only disregards the lives of so many.  How can someone be so pro-life, but not respect it?  Respect the right of the people who are governed to decide when they've had enough and bring to justice a man who has continually disregarded the rights and lives of so many people.  Waiting for his time to be up either by term, or by the grace of god, is up to those affected to choose.

It's like the old saying... You can't help those who don't help  themselves.  We cannot enforce a democracy, nor should we.  Democracies have always become tyrannical, and each of those governments that existed, were all destroyed in the name of Democracy.

Democracies have lasted as long as their demise was swift.

I used to find the following joke funny, now I find it too true.

If the opposite of pro is con, what is the opposite of progress?

You got it...

The Senate is considering the Cluster Munitions Civilian Protection Act (S. 594). Need co-sponsors.
Cluster bomb use is an issue of grave humanitarian concern. Unexploded remnants (called "bomblets") kill in horrible ways: children play with bomblets thinking they're toys, and farmers stumble across them tending their fields.

Over the last 40 years, the best research indicates that 98% of cluster bomb casualties have been civilians. This includes 12,000 civilian casualties in Laos and another 4,000 in Iraq. To this day, bomblets are killing civilians and endangering U.S. soldiers in Iraq.
