I'm in Iraq (A soldiers thoughts) A parody (sung to the tune of I am a Rock.

A winters day
in a deep and dark December,
I am alone,
gazing from my window to the streets below
just thinking how we really have been snowed .
I'm in Iraq.
I'm in Fallujah.

I've built walls,
fortresses deep and mighty,
That none may penetrate.
I have no need of friendship, friendship causes pain,
Along with, and including S. Hussein.
I'm in Iraq,
I'm in Fallujah.

Don't talk of home,
seems I've heard the words before;
they're sleeping in my memory.
I won't disturb the slumber of feelings that have died.
If I never left, I never would have cried.
I'm in Iraq.
I'm in Fallujah.

I have a gun,
but no armor to protect me;
Guess I'm shielded by Don Rumsfeld.
Hiding in his room,
safe within his tomb,
he trusts no one and no one trusts in him.
I'm in Iraq.
I'm in Fallujah.

In Iraq there's no rain.
In Fallujah people die.
