Pizza Party Today!

So for those that don’t know already, the College Democrats are hosting a victory lap party today, 11/18, at 6:30pm in SAC Room 306!

Pizza will be provided by the Long Island for Obama group and the local Democratic Party as a thank you for our hard work over the last few months to get Barack Obama, Brian Foley and Tim Bishop elected!

We’re gonna be discussing our upcoming adventures as well, ranging from a trip to the inauguration in D.C to a comedy show from a writer on the Daily Show.

Come for free food, stay for..free food! And a meeting!

Meetings in Sheboygan

Every four years, the Democratic Party assembles a platform that outlines the party's position on a variety of issues. Traditionally, the platform is written by paid professionals and then presented to the American people. This year, thats going to change. I am holding three Platform Meetings in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We will meet to talk about what issues are most importantand what should be at the heart of the Democratic platform for change. The results of these Platform Meetings will be incorporated into the formal process that culminates in the adoption of the platform at the Democratic Convention in August.

Town Hall Meeting With Barack Obama

I noticed that this event wasn't in the "upcoming events section" and I thought this was worth mentioning.

Barack Obama is holding a town hall meeting in Rockford,Il. at Rock Valley College on Mulford Rd. Saturday 9/30 at 9AM.

I think that it will be his 58th meeting to date. I am very much looking forward to attending. I am, however, uncertain of what questions I should ask, if I have the opportunity.

Any suggestions?
