No Law Respecting Religion - Private Rights Infringed?

I have to say, nothing makes me more frustrated than spending time typing only to lose it all when your hand clicks the mouse on accident, and if you click back, GONE.

Christianity started out with a set of beliefs unlike the Christians of today. (Making it shorter since I've done this one already.) Stories of Jesus taught us that you shouldn't judge a person based on their social behaviors unless such behavior affects a persons quality of life. And in that case, a punishment equal in weight to the crime ought to be practiced as soon as possible.

A Roman emperor tried passing a law to outlaw adultery, and Christians of all people stood up against such laws, maintaining that what people do in their own homes is no place for laws. Laws of conscious were not popular amongst the first Christians.

Sgt. Ricky Clousing, serving as a translator in Iraq,
Link

He said he told his commander: “Your soldiers and the way they’re behaving are creating the insurgency you’re trying to fight. It’s a cycle. You don’t see it, but I’m talking to the people you’re bringing to me.”

Proud member of reality-based community

2 + 2 = 4. Period. That's the end of the discussion. Anyone that disagrees is plain and simple wrong. Fox News doesn't get to have Hannity and three fellow right wing extremists screaming "Anyone that doesn't think 2 + 2 = 5 is helping the terrorists win!!!" over the top of some poor schmuck math teacher Fox News producers brought in a a sacrificial lamb to be immediately labeled a "lib-ruhl extremist 2 + 2 = four-nicator!"

2 + 2 = 4 no matter how many neo-cons scream their denials indignantly.
