My Story: I was born and raised Republican but switched parties when the all of the redneck, Jim Crow loving segregationist Dixiecrats became Republican. When the terms 'welfare queens' and 'quota system' became a part of the national dialogue, I knew I could never be a part of a political party that held racism so dear in their hearts. In short, I am a Democrat because I believe in social and economic justice for everyone. To that end, I am committed to getting John Edwards elected president of the United States.
