My Story: I have always been a militant Democrat and trade unionist. I own College Marketing.com and work as a union Public Relations Specialist for American Income Life Insurance. In my PR job and as an OPEIU delegate to Central Labor Councils, I work very closely with unions in Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania. My political background and training is extensive.
I co-host Democratic Talk Radio and write the Democratic Voices column. I belong to the National Writers Union (UAW Local 1981), OPEIU and United Steelworkers. I served as a National Writers Union delegate to the UAW- CAP (political action) National Convention in 2006.
My political experience goes back to the 1960's. I am in my early 50's. Was active with Jimmy Carter's campaigns in college. Huge supporter of Howard Dean and Al Gore! Strongly backing Edwards for President but really like all the current Presidential hopefuls. Served in many different local offices for Democratic organizations and the Democratic Party including the College Democrats, Maryland Young Democrats, Lincoln County Democratic Party (Tennessee) and Cecil County Democratic Club (Maryland).
