My Story: I spent most of my adult life as an anthropologist studying other cultures and doing various types of fieldwork, except for the last 15 years. No more of that, I am currently working on getting my last little one out of the nest and off to college by working in the private sector. I am pro-business, pro-manufacturing and pro-common sense. Because of my varied background and understanding of other cultures and international affairs, my children and I are on the same page politically. I am also a hunter, a shooter and an advocate of the right of free Americans to legally own guns. I do not advocate letting criminals have guns and urge my government to lock up such people if they violate gun laws and especially throw the book at them if they use a gun in a crime. I believe our party must be the future of the United states if we are to survive. Our next president must someone who truly understands the role of a public servant. Too many in politics are caught up in themselves and want to be a "Leader" and forget their true role as statesman and servant to the people who are their employers. Many also are so ethnocentric that they are blinded to our proper role in the world. We must all understand that every culture is valid for it's own members and has as much right to exist as our own.
