My Story: Since the time I first became politically aware I found myself gravitating to the post World War II democrats. Some thing in their message spoke of nobility and compassion toward all people, regardless of where they came from. The choice to back the civil rights movement solidified my choice to register as a democrat. I believe we are in a unique position to write a narrative of what a kind and educated society could look like. The world we currently live in scares me, as the challenges we face globally and domestically seem to be growing in this new century. I believe our party carries the values central to humanities survival and prosperity.
