My Story: I was the Democratic nominee for State Representative for the 41st District (Troy, Clawson). I have worked as a staffer at the State Capitol. I have attended James Madison College at Michigan State University, majoring in Political Theory. I am a columnist on State political issues for the State News, and I have had editorials published in a number of Oakland County newspapers. I am interested in starting the conversations and laying the foundations for a new kind of Michigan politics--one that is less based on ideology and more based on forward thinking policy. In particular, I am interested in investing in our research institutinons, building a life sciences sector, re-shaping healthcare, and starting the shift towards alternative energy.
