My Story: I am a Jimmy Carter democrat. I went door to door for him in Illinois in 1976. I love the Carter Center in Atlanta. Prez Carter has done so much and times are now so different. Prez Carter won the Nobel Peace Prize. It looks like our current Prez could be charged with war crimes. I am a lifelong liberal. My mother is a glorious liberal Democrat, coming from the generation of the Great Depression. I drifted away from political activism in the 90's, but was re-energized by the amazing campaign of Howard Dean, which gave me a great feeling of hope for the future.
