My Story: This man married my daughter, held her hostage for 5 weeks repeatedly raping her. The state of Maryland Circuit court did not include this in its decision. But did include his new name, and then attributed to him the jobs my husband and daughter did while we all supported him. The state also included statements refuted by the evidence, or testimony. No fact seemed to true for this state to ignore. They insisted my daughter see her rapist every week for a year, while he threatened her life, then were shocked when she ran and hid from this monster. So for running they made her a fugitive, while the rapist became the darling of Maryland Politics.
No one at all in this state read the evidence, until I hired a lawyer to "consult" on the case.
Instead what this state did do: They totally negated the civil rights of both my husband and I. A police officer entered my home and searched it illegally. Based on what he thinks he found, they put out a subpoena on my email and according to the rapist the FBI entered and searched our home and our son's home, for yet another illegal search.
We have never seen a warrant, or the subpoena.
We have been stalked by the local police; even have them on tape coming to the house. But of course we were told it was for our own good.
I police were called 2 times for someone walking under the house with a flashlight, no one responded either time. It was them.
The states Attorney told me, "Nothing will be done to prosecute your son in law, because of your daughter." We had presented evidence that he lies profusely to the court, constituting perjury. In fact this same man, refused to even review the evidence. And had the charges nole prosed ( not prosecuted) when we brought charges and the empirical data AGREED with us, and PROVED his guilt.
The Gov, (Erlich) and I am told the Gov Elect (O’Malley) now want my daughter prosecuted to the "T", according to the State Police. Remember she ran out of fear, not spite or contempt, FEAR. I dare any of you to take having your life threatened in person every week, and on the phone 5 times a day. See if you stick around.
I have no faith in this constitution anymore, the persecution continues, when the first court hearing came, his lawyer said he didn't feel like coming. The Judge told my daughter "you deserve this' why did she threaten his life? Did she lie to everyone? NO she was BEATEN and RAPED.
Prosecute the victim, PROSECUTE THE VICTIMS. Too many women in Maryland are being treated like this.
