My Story: I started voting when I was 18 but have never been involved in the politics. In the last 2 presidential elections I feel that I have been voting for the "lesser of two evils" For the first time in my lifetime there is a candidate that I feel that I can put my trust in, Senator Barack Obama. The first time I saw him one of my friends drug me kicking and screaming to a local Seattle television program before Senator Obama announced he was running for president. Senator Obama had me in tears...I told him that our Country NEEDS him and asked him to PLEASE run for president-- I felt for the first time in years our Country had a chance to heal/unite and return to the great place it once was... When I talk to people about Senator Obama one concern expressed is his "limited" experience in Washington... From reading his book and hearing him speak I tell them that he has experience where it counts--in the trenches-- working with people, bringing people together, solving problems. The experience he doesn't have is the Washington corruption and if they want that there are plenty of candidates with that kind of experience. Do you want change??? Do you want someone in office who has a lifetime experience as a problems solver, a man who stood up for his beliefs and said NO!! to war. Do you want a person in office who has his finger on the pulse of the healthcare crisis (no pun intended) and promises to make sure that every American has affordable health care??? Senator Obama is our HOPE!!!
