My Story: I was raised an Irish Catholic in Minnesota and respect the lessons and values this upbringing promoted while questioning some of the associated hypocrisy. I am proud and grateful to be an American and I'm concerned about the recent direction of our nation. I would like to participate in our democratic system to invigorate the values I consider the core of our country. I support leadership that will promote opportunity though dialog, education, innovation, compassion and tolerance rather than hate, fear, and misinformation. I aspire to be a better family member, friend, neighbor, citizen, and member of the international community.
