My Story: I try my best to be open minded when it comes to politics and would never vote straight ticket anything; however, my voting record is mostly Democrat. My main reason for getting involved is the level of apathy I see in many people in the United States. I think that the decisions made over the past 7 years have been mostly to the detriment of our country and to our standing in the world political scene. My hope is that volunteering will allow me to reach more people to encourage them think about how politics impacts them.
