Erin Crouse

Location: Chapel Hill, NC
My Story: I grew up in the Asheville area (NC-11), where I first got involved with politics by volunteering for Patsy Keever in 2004. In Chapel Hill (where I attend school, pursing majors in Music (Vocal Performance) and English Literature), I have been a member of UNCYD's Executive Board, my precinct leadership board, and the county party's GOTV committee. I also co-managed and was the treasurer for a municipal campaign in 2005. At the present, my focus is more on academics than politics, though I definitely keep up with current events, and do work for the county party when I am asked. It's hard to juggle extracurriculars and schoolwork, and since I slacked off in 2004-5 to pursue the former, I need to concentrate on the latter until I graduate this May.
