My Story: I have always wanted to be "independent", with a small "i", and I managed not to be a Democrat or Republican from the 1946 election to the 2002 election. Actually, the evil of Newt Gingrich in 1995 did it, but George W. Bush in 2001 was even worse, and I declared Democrat in 2002. Have been a rabid progressive grassroots foot soldier since 2002, a fighting MoveOn member since 2002, a declared Democrat since 2002 and the Democrat County Committeeman for Maple Shade, NJ, Voting District 15 since 2002. I am a Deaniac! I love the "Ragin' Cajun" James Carville, but - Jim - today you are wrong on DCN Chairman Howard Dean. We MUST impeach Bush and Cheney. We MUST strengthen the Democratic Party. Oust the DLC! Let Dean run the DNC.
