My Story: I served 20 years in the U.S. Army, including time in Bosnia and Iraq. Because we need can no longer tolerate the mess that Bush is making, I retired from the Army, returned home, and became politically involved. I ran for Congress in Maryland's Sixth District in 2006, won the Democratic nomination, and held the incumbent to 59% of the vote in the general election. I am running again in 2008.
