My Story: I am a 29 year old "new" Democrat who was recently converted by an individual who has done more for the Democratic Party than anyone in history: George W. Bush. Prior to the Bush Administration, I was a registered independent. Subsquent to the Bush Administration and their pre-emptive, b.S. war, their invasion on civil liberties, their destruction of foreign relations, their unconfined spending, failure to address global warming and complete incompetence, I had no choice but to vote exclusively Democrat. I am a criminal defense attorney who views the Bill of Rights very broadly and firmly believe in the unarticulated "Right to Privacy". I believe our function as a Superpower, if any, should belimited to humanitarian causes such as Darfur. We should not be in the business of forcing Democracy. I am so excited for the 2008 election as it is the first since 1968 where there is an abundance of great choices rather than "lesser of evils."
