My Story: I'm 18 years old, I got to Tarrant County Community College as of right now, and I will be transfering to TCU, SMU, or UNT, next fall. All of my family are democrats and they have raised me to be very vocal about my beliefs surrounding the democratic veiws. In this area that I live in, there are almost NO democrats only republicans, and it bothers me at times. I always have to watch what I say, and most republicans in this area think they are right about everything, and they offend me alot. I think everybody has an opinion and everybody deserves to get it out there in a manorly way. All of my friends are shocked when finding out I am democrat because there are little to none around us. I always get into a political debate w/ them even if I didnt want to, haha it just comes naturally for me to do that. The problem is most people my age have no idea what they are talking about when debating me on this stuff. I think it is very very rare to find young people my age to have their OWN opinion, about politics, and not their parents.
