Profile

Location: Sugar Land, TX
My Story: I used to be an Independent but I have decided to stop making a statement with my vote and effectively throwing it away and join the Democratic Party. I have been to my first fund raiser and put out signs and done some TrueBlue calling from home. I would be more active but I do not have a car. If anyone is from Sugar Land and would like to carpool with me, that would be great. I am very low income, on SSD. I live with my parents, both Democrats and my adult brother who went to the fundraiser with me and has now become an active Democrat too. I am 43 and have been divorced since 1993. I am extremely liberal on some issues and extremely conservative on others. I love to participate in polls. I have always despised the Bush family and their regime. I feel that the first term of Bush is the perfect example of why the electoral college should be disbanded and we should go to a strict count of citizen votes. Perhaps divided by State but I am not decided on that aspect of the argument yet. I think I am what you would call a "Nationalist" in many ways. Especially when it comes to the "war". But my opinions are subject to change as more information is consumed and digested by me. I do not know the whole story about anything other than myself so I am always looking to learn more.
