My Story: At the age of 17, I became aware of the need for people in the Pagan community to take a stand for the community. I joined the Pagan Unity Campaign as a local volunteer. That same year, the world I knew as a child ended on September 11, 2001 and I started moving from "interested" to "active" in politics. Over the subsequent 5 years, I've moved from local volunteer to state chair to regional director at the PUC and have joined the fight for equal rights on other fronts as well. During the same 5 years, my activity in politics continued to grow along with my desire to assist the Pagan community where needed. There are so many issues of importance, aside for religious equality, that simply aren't being addressed; from the Social Security my sister needs to help her care for her 16 month old who is on a ventilator 24 hours a day 7 days a week, to the insurance millions like me do not have, to the insecurity of our borders, the dismal state of our schools, our inability (or unwillingness) to capture Bin Laden... the list goes on.
Long story short... I'm here for progress on all levels and won't leave until I'm satisfied.

I am not going to question your opinions. I am not going to meddle with your belief. I am not going to dictate to you mine. All that I say is, examine, inquire. Look into the nature of things. Search out the grounds of your opinions, the for and the against. Know why you believe, understand what you believe, and possess a reason for the faith that is in you. ~Frances Wright
