My Story: Came out as a Democrat shortly after coming out. I'm not sure which shocked my parents more. I claim moderacy as my sub-affiliation since I think there is plenty that needs to be fixed in this country -- some of it by getting the government involved and the rest of it by getting the government the heck out of the picture. Have lived in DC for more than a decade now, and as much as I might often like to just stick my head in the sand, it becomes difficult to do so when politics pervades pretty much your entire environment. My personal dream is to see this country restored in the eyes of the World as a true leader, not an idiot bully. I wouldn't mind that we're carrying the last real big stick so much, if we were actually walking softly as opposed to staggering about like a drunken frat boy on a Friday night in Georgetown.
