My Story: I come from a diverse home with a feminist mother who taught me to stand up for what I beleived in and to fight injustice. My father grew up poor and he worked to make sure my family lived well and safe. Had he had and education, he wouldn't have struggled as hard. So it is my mission in life to educate people and to work to make it possible that everyone no matter where they come from have the opportunity to get an education. I am also a stong advocate of women's rights, especially when it comes to fighting against violence against women. I beleive this should be just as important a fight as abortion rights.
