My Story: I have always voted in every election. Until 2000, I thought that was enough. By 2003, I came to realize that the only way to effect change was to do more than vote. I entered into the water cooler debates, articulated my point of view, and was revolted by November 2004. I made my first ever campaign contributions in 2006, awaited election night with dread, and have been sobered by the narrow margin of victory. Although I am still firmly an independent voter, I must acknowledge my progressive leanings and will work to build the only viable party with any hint of a Progressive agenda. So, here I am. Lets move this party!
